i have one on my shoulder - it the face of a cat, i call it my egyptian cat because the face is very concise.

i highly recommend sade's new cd, "lover's rock".

every song is a perfect accompaniment to "the horizontal dance".

There's a European band called HIM which is beautiful epic rock music. It always makes my boyfriend and I feel like what we're doing is going to change the world or soemthing. We crank it up real loud, an dwhen his friends come to the front dorr, they know to come back later

Quick Builds - Need Some Info

i've just been told that the kh at bulli, after being torched, has just been demolished.

it is that congregation's (and austinmer's - they share the hall) intention to rebuild with one of their media circus quick builds.

i've learnt from this board and others that quickbuilds are anything but - taking many months of laying foundations and infrastructure along with pre-fabrication.

I've participated in 3 quickbuilds. The last one I did was the hall I actually attended. It took about 6-8 months to clear the ground, run lines and pipes, and lay the foundation. Prior to the actual breakage of ground it took nearly 5 years to get funding, permits, and actually close escrow on the land. After demolishing the old hall which was next door to the land of the new hall, the "quick build" actually took a week to do. Then we were still out of the hall for another month while they got inspections done, and permits from the fire marshal. So all in all, our "quick build" took nearly a year to fully complete from the time ground was broken. But it depends on the who you have heading the project, the type of organization they have, and man power.

i hated all the elders who thought they had to tell someone what had to be done and they themselves weren't doing it.

I hated having to be a good example..... If I saw a certain movie, it was okay for others to see a certain movie. If I didn't listen to a certain musician others shouldn't.

One year I cut my hair very short and shaved it up in the back. Soon after several other girls in the congregation cut their hair. The elders wouldn't let me go in service for a few months till it started to grow out because others were imitating me.

I didn't want to be an example to other people. We had a majority young congregation. When I left the JWs about 6-10 other young people in my congregation also left. Of course I got blamed for being an "influence." Even though I never talked to anyone else but the elders about my doubts.

P.S. When I pioneered I made up alot of my "hours." I hated the anal ones who counted minutes

Any Funny Virgin Honeymoon stories?

none here- but my brother & his wife- both good witnesses got married- didn't get to complete the act for 6 weeks- his wife had no idea he was so big- and kept crying & was afraid.

Not a honeymoon story.... but a virginity story.

I had already left the JWs and was living on my own. My boyfriend and I were together for 5 months and had our share of heavy petting. He was not a virgin. I was 20, he was 19. So I decided finally to let him de-flower me. He got a really nice room at the Hilton.

We watched porn together. I was terrified of the pain I was supposed to feel. Finnaly I just jumped on him. He was errect, put the condom on, and soon as he stuck his head in me, he came.

Well he rested a bit and we decided to give it another go. This time much better. He was a very little guy though. We changed positions a view times. Well when he rolled me over missionary style I Queefed (spelling?)

I didn't know what it was, he thought I farted. I DIDN'T!!!!!!

Anyway he started laughing hysterically and went soft. Then he rolled over and went to sleep.

A few months later I had a great experience with a VERY well endowed guy who officially popped my cherry. It was so great that it was that night I started smoking.
