Where have all the good sitcoms gone?
by doodle-v inis it just me or does it seem like there arent any really great sitcoms on t.v?.
"friends" hasnt been funny in at least two years.. "frasier" was only funny the first couple of seasons.
"malcom in the middle" and "the bernie mac show" i can tolerate and actually find pretty funny now and again.

Thanks Puter. You are right though. The witnesses have a belief that we are all miserable if we're not at the meetings
Corvin here's the update:
This post is from 2 years ago. Up untill the time I wrote it I had not had ANY contact with my family. My mother never mentioned the letter after I gave it to her, but once when I was cleaning their house, I found it and saw that she had indeed done the research. Since everything was accurate that I gave her, she never said anything to me about. I now have a great relationship with my immediate family again. I eat dinner at their house, my mom and I just went out to lunch and shopping together last week, we almost never discuss teh religion, unless of course she's telling me juicey gossip :). But it wasnt just the letter that did it, though it did open the door for a reconciliation. Last year my dad had a stroke, then it was found that they had mold in their attic and my dad developed pnumonia and my mom's lung collapsed. They have since recovered. But during thet time I stepped up to the plate and took time off work, and practically moved back in to take care of them. That's what made all the difference. As for the rest of my family : 2 sisters and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins, I still dont talk to them, but I dont really care.
thanks again for your kind words. it means alot

I couldn't possible see myself with someone who is under 21. I'm 26 and thats a 5 year difference
Hey Troof you wanna come over here and set some of my guy friends straight? They're pigs :) (guess taht's why I love them :))
Seriously though, the guys I know who date girls younger than 21 or even younger than 18, arent very mature and feel threatend by women their own age.
European kids tend to mature quicker than AMerican children. They are exposed to more and given much more responsiblity at an earlier age. I think it's a good thing. American kids turn 21 and lose their minds. in my opinion anyway

ahhhh, is that a sensitive side I see coming out of your puter?
You are right, so do brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles and grandparents. Maybe we should start another thread for ANYONE who has ever lost a child.
this one's for the mums though *muah*

But if someone doesn't want to be in a relationship and wishes to have sex with someone who also doesn't want to be in a relationship, then who am I to stop them. As long as nobody gets hurt doing it, then there isn't a big deal.
I agree with you in this matter Troof. But here's the problem with prostitution: I cannot recall any girls I grew up with ever saying "I want to be a prostitute when I grow up." You may not be getting hurt (using a condom hopefully) but the fast majority of women who end up in that lifestyle have severe emotional issues. True it's 'their choice to do so', but in alot of cases it isnt. The exploitation of women in such a manner has been going on virtually since the begining of time, but to legalize it, and condone it is not right. In my opinion anyway.
