The Real Reason for the Blood Ban?
by Farkel inpeople who are informed about the history of the watchtower movement are well-aware that "new light" doesn't come out of a vacuum.
"jehovah" always seems to spirit-direct his "new light" when the wts has a problem they created for themselves.
this is all bible-based(tm).

The Answer to high Gas Prices.....
by ThiChi inany thoughts on mr. taylor?s claims?.
u.s. demands greater oil output, lower prices.
"finance ministers from the united states and other major industrialized countries, hoping to affect the outcome of a battle within the organization for the petroleum exporting countries, formally demanded yesterday that oil-exporting nations raise production and lower prices to a level 'that is consistent with lasting economic prosperity,'" the new york times reports.

Which men / lads here cry when listening to music / watching films?
by Celtic inyou know how some of us guys have to put on a bit of an act sometimes, we have to set our faces into our coping scowl, but underneath, we're too well aware of just how soft we are?
well.. what music to the big guys here only, not you wimpy bunch, brings a tear to your eye or which films is it that you need to keep a box of tissues handy by you to wipe away the dampness in your eye?.
for celtic it's a track by dido - white flag and also black eyed peas - where is the love?

Hey Narkissos.... being from France you reminded me of two other great tear jerkers "Jean De Florette" and the sequel "Manon of the Springs". Great foreign films, cinematically beautiful.

Hey Jim...have you heard about the diesel conversion kits that use old cooking grease? You could go all over the country and just stop for a day or two, get some grease from a local greasy spoon , make some fuel and keep going
Hey Valis a friend of mine is currently working on building one. He bought a 1989 Diesel VW Jetta, and he's nearly done with it. Some guy wrote a book about detailing how to do it. I started to read it and got bored. But my friend expects to have it completed by mid-june. He even wrote to MTV's "Pimp my Ride" show about it. They were interested, but he was too old for their criteria

I'm not a man obviously, but the last movie I cried my eyes out over was "John Q" with Denzel Washington. The one where he takes a hospital hostage to give his son a heart transplant. Man that was a hard one to watch, especially since the little boy in the movie bore a striking resemblance to my Spencer.

What Would a JW Discussion Forum Accepted By The Society Really Be Like?
by minimus insuppose for a minute that the society allowed certain pro-jw sites to exist as long as they were heavily moderated by "mature ones".
what would the site be like?
what types of dialogue would exist?
