Grosses us girls out to have to look at a guy's "it" and think about the mileage too
seems to me that in the jw religion, virginity is considered to be an essential requirement for the born-into-its, right up until the time that they get married.
seems to me also, that the jw religion, while condemning fornication generally, sets greater store on females remaining intacto, as opposed to males, what with references to "old towels that any man can wipe his hands on" and the like.
very patriarchal.

heated exchange at 'fahrenheit'?.
Regarding Rush and Moore. I hate any "craphead" who believes that their views are the difinitive last word. Plain and simple, I can see the comparison, because both are so staunch on being right.

it seems that there is an ever growing number of people who are still active and are handing in "bumped up" hours.
yet, i have never seen an article acknowledging this.
to my mind, nothing has been printed that counsels witnesses on lying about their hours.. and all these bible studies - do you really see them at the meetings?
15 minute rule? Is like if you drop your food on the ground, you have 15 minutes to pick it up and eat it again before it's contaminated?

because almost everyone recognizes that Moore, rather than trying to spread "truth" just hates Bush...
Well I dont know about EVERYONE, but I happen to be a Moore fan, and even I recognize that he does slant things to "fit his vision". And it's HIS vision, just like the Administration slants things to fit their "vision" as well. I watched the interview and it irritated me that Moore seemed to be getting annoyed at the hard questions he was asked. He even commented on it. An interview on Dateline is very different from the couch on Leno. It's not just some Press Junket opportunity to promote your film. If you're going to make a political film be prepared to answer the political questions.
By the way, he came right out and said it was personal against Bush. So that being said, you already know what you should expect from the movie. If you're a Bush supporter than why see the movie if you already know it's intentions, and know you're just going to be pissed off? And if you're not a Bush supporter, well you've alreday decided that before seeing the movie, just know that it is a slanted, cleverly editted movie.

was in the raf in wwii and went to iraq and other places but didn't really talk much about the war.

And sometimes people use humor as a defense..
I have this problem in real-life. I joke entirely waaaaaaay too much in real life. And I've found that if I have a problem with something, if something is bothering me deep inside, I tend to manifest my issues through humor. So something may seriously be bothering me, but I make a joke about it. Later I let things kind of build up, and then I say "I told you it was bothering me". To which you would respond "what?I thought you were joking about that!"
Yeah so I'm having to learn how to cut the jokes out from time to time and be serious once in a while. I remember I used to irritate the hell outta my parents and friends and boy friends who would finally just say "cant you just be serious for once?" So THAT ladies and gentlemen is why I use protection :)

"Is this really the only person that I am ever going to have sex with for ever and ever"?
I'll be honest, when I was an engaged virgin JW, this thought constantly went through my head. I wasnt physically attracted to my fiance, and I get thinking, 'if getting married is the only way I get to have sex, why does it have to be with THIS guy?' I know that sounds terrible, but it's the honest truth, and was a big factor in why I ultimately called things off.
I continued to wait even after I left. My first sexual experience was well worth it, and memorable. And I obviously didnt marry the guy, but I still hold a soft sport in my heart for him.
