Is Elvis still dead as well?
You must be kidding!!!! We all know Elvis isnt dead, he's alive and well and living in Cuba with Tupac Shakur.
ever since president reagan died a few weeks ago on june 5th, all of the flags in the dallas area have been flying at half mast.
i can understand flying them like this for a week or so, but they are still at half mast to this day.. has anyone else noticed this?.
does no one want to be the first to stop flying their flags as half mast?.

my sister...... is a psycho!!!!.
she's "in feild service" sending out letters to people that didn't answer at the door.
(which is already a little too much) she dressed up in her meeting cloths, head to foot, in order to be presentable while she is writing those letters.

i have a grandaughter that has told me that she loves satan and that he rules.
she draws awful pictures of dark clowns and writes die and kill on the side of it,.
i am afraid for her welbeing.
Yes you should get her some professional help. I have custody of my nephew who as a little child was subjected to a drug filled environment and witnessed things no child should. When he first came to live with me he used to tell me about dreams he had of monsters cutting his head off, and that he wanted to die. He was 5 years old. I spoke to a child psychologist about it. Thankfully it was just the stress of the move and he eventually grew out of it.
Being 14 years old is a very hard time. At least it was one of the hardest years for me. She's probably just going through a stage, but if she's threatening to hurt herself, you need to get her help. Good luck, and please keep us posted of her progress.
since we have been together (3 years) my husband has been in several interesting situations at work.
there have been a couple of wrecks in front of his office, a fire across the street, a couple of bomb threats to his actual office, and then yesterday the police and their dogs chased a criminal all over the company property after evacuating it.
they finally found the guy hiding in the warehouse.. hmm, maybe he needs to change jobs.
Never thought drafting could be dangerous.
LOL! Oi Vay! I bet you probably thought you'd marry drafter so you never had to worry about such situations. I heard the post office is hiring if he's interested. oh wait!
(trump = fart ).
our youngest, 5, can be fussy about what he eats and he was playing up before dinner.. it looked like he wasn't going to eat the fish-fingers, chips and beans until he suddenly asked "are these the beans that make me trump?"..
when we assured him that they were then he wolfed them down (after a quick "yeahs!")..
I get Spencer to eat asperagus by telling him it makes his pee green. He gobbles them down, and downs a big glass of water and runs off to the bathroom to try his experiment. We've done this about 4 times, he's 7 and very bright, but he hasnt caught on to this trick yet :)
i know 3 guys in business whose small preschool children have just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes; requiring 2 insulin injections daily; and other varying degrees of medical attention due to the diabetes.
the more i discuss this with people the more i hear about it.
it almost seems to be at epidemic proportions.
I havent noticed it. But I think proper nutrition for children is imparative. When I first got Spencer he was sickly, and had nose bleeds all the time. Twice I had to call 911 to have an ambulance transport him to the hospital to get the bleeding to stop. I took him from one specialist to another, they couldnt figure out what was wrong with him. I implemented a healthy diet for him, including lots of irons and proteins and started giving him vitamins. He can have "junk food" from time to time, but he doesnt drink soda, and I try to make sure he has as balanced of a diet as possible. Our nation has an alarming amount of obesse children. I was one of them. I constantly had health problems growing up, and now as an adult who learned healthy eating, I dont have very many problems.

:) Sadly Simon I dont think the facsination with trumping for boys ends when they grow outta childhood :) cute story though
a violent sex offender is moving to merced, ca.
but have no fear he is a witness!
whoo hooo!
*whew* what a relief, at least you can sleep well at night knowing that the Elders in his hall will have everything under control *gag*

aside from the reasons jws give as it being a pagan holiday renamed..... i do not like the fact that parents think nothing of lying to their children about this mythical santa claus.
and the constant hollywood movies making anyone who exposes the gag as an evil monster...while giving children reasons to believe that santa claus really does exist after all...ignore your older friends who have been poisoned by the secular world.. i find it appalling to ever teach a child to simply expect people to give them things just because the calendar says a certain day.. i find the mindless devoution to christmas to be just as appalling as the brainwashing jws do against it... i see people in my office acting like german clocks... the clock strikes easter and the decorate the office, strikes holloween and they decorate again...strikes christmas and more decorations..... then the frets and worries over what to get who and how much to go into debt over it.. i knew one lady who spent over $300 on a child less than two and was very depressed about two weeks later when the novelty wore off and only very inexpensive things returned as the main attraction.
Spencer gets gifts for Christmas and he knows they are from me. I personally dont think parents should lie to their kids about Santa and the Tooth Fairy.
For me what I LOVE about Christmas, is decorating and baking, and preparing a HUGE meal and having all the family and friends over. I love Christmas shopping and picking out gifts. My Christmas is never religious. I just love to have a fire going, carols playing, and people I love and respect around to enjoy each other. It's happiness to me.
