  Will they grow Hemp in that Paradise garden?

  i was thinking today about that paradise garden the witness always pictured.

  i remember all those happy blank faces, with the rosy cheeks and content look.

  they were all smiling eating a apple, petting a lion, and running around the trees.

  Wow! If I had know they would have weed AND Beastiality in the "Paradise" I wouldn't have made up my service hours. I just might have faked a little bit more so I could be saved

  as many may know, i'm still a teenager.

  i'm not willing to reveal my age, which is one less than 17 or one more than 15. but i just wanted to get your guys' opinion on sex before marriage.

  a lot of people here have kinda lost their "watchtower" and biblical standards as i have gathered.

  I agree with this comment. I have been in a JW relationship and non-JW relationships. When I was a JW my fiance at the time was 31 and a virgin. Sex was the biggest focus of our relationship. It was hard to concentrate our energy on anything else because we were working so hard to abstain. It ultimately put such a strain on our relationship. The guilt was terrible, even though I was still a virgin.And so many JWs rush in to marriages just so they can have sex.

  My non-JW relationships have been just the opposite. Had sex, had great sex. Moved on. We were able to pay attention to each other, and invest energy in to the right areas. There wasn't a constant frustration.

  While I understand and support the reasoning behind the "no sex till marriage" rule, I don't practice it. I beleive casual sex is wrong. Don't get me wrong I've experienced a couple "casual" sex situations, and I don't believe they were right. Our "MTV" generation sees nothing but gratuitous sex around them. Kids are experimenting with it at alarmingly young ages. I was engaged, had had 2 boyfriends, was 20 years old, and in love with my boyfriend before I ever even experimented. It kept me safe.

  I believe "casual" sex can be fun, but the best sex is with someone you care about and are safe with. If you aren't ready for children, think about that ahead of time. And finally, some say sex without a condom isn't the same. Well, I say life with syphillis isn't the same either.

  And as far as relationships go, it has been my experience that you can have fabulous sex and not have it be a huge factor in your relationship. But if your sex life stinks, it can be a HUGE factor.

  Public opinion on the issue of Iraq???

  when prime minister tony blair was 'summoned' to camp david a couple of day's ago, he looked succinctly uncomfortable when doing a press interview with president bush.

  today, the prime minister faces the tuc conference, the main agenda covering the impending war on iraq.

  british public opinion is very much for the action to not take place against iraq.

  elders who are married should do the best they can to make their own wives happy, since their duties take so much time away from personal lives........and not be too concerned with other peoples personal and private happiness!!!!

  remember when elders took pride in dfing someone - like they got a notch on their judgmental belt of righteousness?.

  remember when parents would brag about kicking their kids out if they did want to serve jah or if the kid got dfd and the father didnt want to lose his position in the k-hall and threw the kid out?.

  remember when catastrophes would happen to other people/nations and jws would laugh about it and consider it just part of the last days?.

  I know what you mean about the "in" crowd.

  Anyone ever in a congregation where it was mainly 3 or 4 large families who were all somehow related?

  My family was one of those families. If you were just a couple, or small family, and not related to anyone, you got ignored.
