Brother Waddington was my CO and VERY good friends with my Uncle. I found him to be quite a character. I remember one time he was on his way to give a talk and was in an accident. Not too serious, but Sister Waddington was injured. We drove her to the hospital and dropped him off at the Kingdom Hall so he could give his talk and he went to the hospital after his talk to receive the medical attention he needed. :)
it's amazing that people think when they are hurting or angry, that they can say anything they want.
and then the next day or week, they can say to you: oh i was just mad.
i was just venting.
Mulan.... when I was little I would irritate my mother by calling her all the time "Mom here, Mom look at this, Mom, Mom, Mom can we?"
She once told me she was going to go to the DMV and have her named legally changed to a 4 letter word and then DARE me to call her that!!!
It didnt make sense to me at the time, but not in retrospect I think it's the funniest thing and cant wait to tell MY kids that!

Mulan: you both sound pretty lucky. You're lucky he showed you the real truth, and he's lucky that you listened
i am sure this post will anger a few people, and i respect that some find the idea of killing an animal repulsive.
all i ask is that, if you reply, you concentrate more on what you think of hunting and culling, rather than posting insults that i am a brute etc.
unfortunately it is a sad fact of life, that sometimes it is necessary to kill one or many animals to make sure things stay in balance.
His conscience weighs heavily on his mind, and has added premature worry lines to his face. Now just imagine how old you'll look if you kill those kitties.

My point is, like in your situation, those are things that can NEVER be taken back. I've had to learn the hard way that alcohol sometimes can make a person say things they'll regret, problem is you CANT ever take those back. Knowing this, is ALWAYS in teh back of my mind now.
