Should the society be sued for fraud?

i've posted a similiar subject before , but read yesturday that scientologists in france were sued for fraudulent preaching methods by the government (the article did not state what the fraud was) and fined.

the scientologist complained and said they were just practising their religion.. i love those french, they see straight through dodgy religions.. so should we try and sue the society , for say withholding vital information to new members about their past and other such things, and not being open and honest about what happens when you leave.?.

prehaps the french can try it first.

I've always maintained this stance, yes sleepy.

Costs do, but don't at the same time come into it.

Especially for those of us brought up within the trooth, our most basic human rights were taken away, including the right of every child to enjoy the freedom of education. So, in doing so, they sapped our talents, lapped our strength to deliver upon what we personally wanted out of life. Very fine for the rich posh ones in the congregation to tell us, forget your education, don't appreciate it fully. WT philosophy on this issue stinks. This community is one by and large that is excluded by the expense of things out here. We are talented but often lack many other skills people take for granted.

I'm always up for looking at avenues to reclaim some of my time, moneuy and energy that was given them. One day, the 100th monkey effect might occur, you never know.

Thankyou for posting this Flower, I've been meaning for a while to check out quotes such as these, even yesterday, the thought came to mind, nice one.

I first requested a psychologist at age 14, at this time i was having a great deal of traumatic experiences, and would often smash my head against the wall to try to block out the pain going on inside my head.

Obviously, it was refused my request. That Awake article sums it up, I must show that one to my parents, who have always denied that this was ever advocated.

Media - An Appointment With The WT Is Required

from those reasonable in mind here, it's getting close when a lot of people here want answers, the only ones that can supply us those answers are the wt hq's only.. can we find individuals here who are willing to make fair representation of the issues at hand, can we involve the media in the demand for the set up of such an appointment.. whether a negative or positive response, the answers given will be very telling indeed if you know how to put mirrors inbetween sentences of thought, motive and intention.. downsayers, please, reasonable positive minds on this only, no offense.. peace.

From those reasonable in mind here, it's getting close when a lot of people here want answers, the only ones that can supply us those answers are the WT HQ's only.

Can we find individuals here who are willing to make fair representation of the issues at hand, can we involve the media in the demand for the set up of such an appointment.

Whether a negative or positive response, the answers given will be very telling indeed if you know how to put mirrors inbetween sentences of thought, motive and intention.

celtic here.. i realise many of you are not yet upto scratch on downright going for the society, that's cool.. for those of you more radical activists out there, what better possible manner in which to cause major disruption and to teach something of our aims to a potential massive audience, than to attend a district convention near you.. saucepans and sticks don't half make one hell of a din.. digital cameras are cool too to record all activity and to possibly edit later on for possible leverage with media bodies interested in the event etc.. the point is, is to have a watertight angle on which to go in on, to cause the best possible effect to our strategic advantage.

that means imforming the media of our presence in advance plus many other initiatives that will be described as part of a longer post on this subject tomorrow.. take a leaf out of the uk road protesters and anti global capitalists book, they could teach us a thing or two.. so who's up from you bunch of slackers, for causing major disruptions this year?

Come to think of it, night time activity appeals highly, especially what with all that sound equipment.

I don't mind either way if anyone else is up for it or not, matters not, I'm still going to serve my points against them.

I agree with you. Actually, I wouldn't want to 'spit on' the Dubs like that, but I get your drift.

Can do quite a bit of 'damage' alone, but with a core group of hardened fellow activists, (3/4 at most) I'm sure we could nigh bring the proceedings to a complete halt on one if not all of the convention days. Ahhhh the art of subtlety.
