DaCheech you are correct, and it is precisely that other group that truly controls the organization. The GB in a sense is nothing more than middle-management taking orders from them.

WT $$ Question ?
by exwhyzee inwhen thinking about the wealth of the organization, i used to wonder how anyone of us would ever really know if someone was actually getting rich, personally profiting or living the highlife using watchtower funds.
i always figured that if there were something like that going on, the u.s. government would surely have found this out and would have gladly exposed it.
then some time ago someone made a post indicating that there are those who are being paid by the watchtower.

No proof is necessary. Where there is big money there is always someone directly benefitting from it. The governments of the world are merely employees of the corporate powers-that-be. They will never "expose" their masters.

It only takes minimal common sense to realize that the god of the bible is a creation of sick and twisted human minds and the JWs are only one small symptom of this travesty. Throw out the baby with the bath water!

Is there a Jehovah's Witness gestalt?
by Terry inthere is a german word: gestalt which means that.......... something is more than the sum of its parts.. .
a diamond seems to be an excellent example of this principle, doesn't it?.
carbon (as in: carbon dioxide) is everywhere and it is "cheap".. but, diamonds are prized as very valuable and expensive.. a diamond, however, consists of almost entirely of : carbon.. .

I annihilated my JW gestalt back in the late 80's by taking LSD at death metal concerts. I got my money's worth but in restrospect I probably could have found a better way to do it.

Waiting for the shoe to drop......
by rocky220 inthere's a dubby living in my building, and every morning while waiting at the bustop he tried witnessing to me to no avail since we have a great difference of opinion on the borg's "truth".
then came the day when he says that if i am not coming back he can't speak to me anymore and that he didn't want to get in trouble.
poor misguided guy, that was 1 month ago.

Open your door and have fun showing them how stupid they are. Eventually you will be blacklisted as a dangerous apostate and they will leave you alone. This happened to me and to be honest I rather miss their visits. One of them was really cute.

How did plants survive the Flood?
by dgp innoah is not said to have carried plants in his ark.
supposedly the flood was severe enough to cover "even the tallest mountains", which would mean that mount everest was covered.
and this for forty days.

It must have been a very big boat that they were able to store enough food to feed themselves and all those animals. Noah and his family must have shovelled poop and thrown it overboard 24/7.
What is wrong with people's brains that they actually believe these myths?

I left partially because of the highly oppressive JW policies which amount to nothing more than forcing people to live in a manner that is unatural and therefore unhealthy. I wanted to be a human being, not a mindless programmed robot. Not to mention that most JWs seemed to be intellectually deficient and emotionally disturbed hypocrites.
Ultimately my problem was with Christianity itself. The god portrayed in the bible was clearly not a divine being but merely a petty, bloodthirsty tyrant... a creation of the vilelest and most depraved human imagination (ie JEWS). Most of the people I had met throughout my life had better qualities and were more deserving of love and respect than that piece of shit dog (yes I know, it's an insult to dogs to compare them to that abomination). It is an ideology of reversals: Up is down, left is right, misery is hapiness, hate is love, etc.
I walked away from the JWs twenty years ago but I enjoy reading the posts on this forum. I find it especially amusing when people accuse the WT of misrepresenting Jewhovah. They represent "it" perfectly, especially since they began to gradually phase out the Christ figure into a less important role within their ideology. This comes as no surprise when we look at the scum that runs the organization. Can you guess their lineage by looking at some of their names? The WT is Talmudic at it's core and this will become more obvious in the years to come.

Vile and hateful - two of the strongest JW qualities that we must all emulate.
