the content of the program presented at the circuit assembly: safeguard your spirituality served as a re-affirmation that the wt/gb is loosing the grip of rank & file.

they are becoming boulder and boulder in their blatant use of mind control techniques; in my opinion, their mind control techniques used to be more subtle.

but the content of the program in this past assembly clearly reflected that they are acting out of frustration and desperation.

here we go:does anybody know any witnesses who got baptised in order to achive something else instead of worshipping jehovah?for example i know a jw who got baptised because his only motivation was to get laid (get married) with a female jw..

I was 12. The other kids who were entertaining thoughts of baptism were receiving positive attention and I wanted me some of that.

If there is a God, is he an atheist?

of course, any god would believe in himself, but would he believe in someone greater than himself?

would he postulate an external cause for the realm in which he lives?

you might expect that a hypothetical god would be all knowing, so he would know if there is another greater god, but he couldn't know if there is another realm that he doesn't and can't know about.

o.k i have noticed that most female jws are ugly.and by ugly i mean ugly.they won't work out,they are fat and won't go on a diet (some female teens won't even shave their legs),they neglect their appearance/body in general.any opinions?.

p.s many will eventually get fat after marriage.

As are the people who are trying tell you you're crazy.

I mean no unkindness to anyone, but someone needs to stand uncompromisingly for what is right.

Of course, by uncompromising, you mean completely closed to facts, evidence, information and persuasion that don't support your view.

We have a saying in Judaism: "If one person calls you an ass, ignore him. If more than one person calls you an ass, it might be time to invest in a bridle and saddle. "

Does anyone else feel like an alien?

if you don't, a group of aliens take on human bodies and pose as a family on earth.

they try to fit in but get things wrong and hilarity ensues.. yesterday my family celebrated easter.

I am so sick of people thinging fat=ugly. It's a typical sentiment among JW men. Worldly men (not as a whole, but in general) have more open standards of beauty. Especially the lovely men of color. Can I get a holla from the brothas? (I usually do.) Women can be sexy at any size.

That said, as a teenager, I dressed and acted like a boy. Even though I was a true believer, I was rebelling against a culture in which men had all the privilege and women were worthless. I wanted to be a missionary. When that was denied to me (have to be married) I went to carpentry school so I could work on quickbuilds. I wanted to be valued for something other than providing the men something pretty to look at or being a comodity for some douchy brother as a wife.

The men are no prize either, but that's already been discussed.
