  it's been a long time since i've posted.

  i am happy to say that i have been thriving since leaving the jws and though it had a huge effect on my past, it has little to zero effect on my future.

  Scientific explanation for ghost sightings

  i haven't been to the board in a while, but i want to share this.

  there is a scientific explantion for some (not necessarily all) ghost sightings: carbon monoxide poisoning.

  soon i realized that there was no staircase behind the wall, only the thickly carpeted front stairs on which no footsteps could be heard.

  in my child psychology class we discussed lawrence kohlberg's cognitive theory of moral development.

  i find the stages he outlines to be interesting and relevant to our experience as jws, particularly stage 4.. from my textbook, kohlberg's theory of moral development:.

  after leaving the jws, i question not only their doctrine but everything i learned from them.

  the other day i was talking religion with my bf and he said something about how the angels can't procreate.

  i said, yeah they did when they saw the pretty women, had relations with them and created the nephilim before the flood.

  Does anyone else feel like an alien?

  you guys remember the show third rock from the sun?

  if you don't, a group of aliens take on human bodies and pose as a family on earth.

  they try to fit in but get things wrong and hilarity ensues.. yesterday my family celebrated easter.

  of course, even though we all said it, no one in my family did this.

  My first experience at a Christian church--for what it's worth

  i am dating an advent christian (very similar to baptist).

  i went to church with him for the first time yesterday.

  i was pleased that he wanted me there because it's nice to be included in things that are meaningful to him.
