Cedars - thanks for your reply. I read your post about the family visit. It is so clearly recognizable!!
Last week I visit the KH and got the same questions, an old sister asked me "Brother, what is your name, i forgot it."
Then she asked "Is your work the reason of not attending regulary?", "Is your wife not attending anymore?".
I answered all the questions honnest. "My name is xxxxx". "No, my work is not the reason of not attending regulary".
"No, my wife is not attending anymore". I did it with a smile, but when I got into the car with one of my kids, I had to sigh deeply.
These are the difficult issues confronting us.

Since the annual meeting 2012 news about the adjusted FDS doctrine, Gorby has followed all the news about it, thought about it every day. Just like the times of the 1995 Generation adjustment. Made some postings on JWD. Talked about it with Gorby's lovely wife.
And then came a depressed feeling, a depressed mood. Some light headache. Bad sleep. Bad mood, like a grunchy old man at 42 years. Flashbacks of my youth and my happy JW parents. Feeling angry about the believe.
I told a friend yesterday, It feels like 5 generations of JW legacy feeling heavy on my shoulders. Relativize all my feelings because of the hypocrisy of our JW believe.
Feeling fear about my own family, wife and children, how do we survive this religion? Without losing all our family.

New FDS understanding just a publicity stunt for new JW.ORG website?!?
by Gorbatchov ini read this weekend many reactions on my own posting about "we just love this idea" and also the topics of cedars and metatron about the new understanding of the fds doctrine and stop the printing facility's.. today i can not oppress the feeling that the new fds understanding is just a publicity stunt just to make jw.org famous and usefull for the rank-and-file jw's.. how to get attention for the new publishing channel jw.org to replace the use of hardcopy magazines?!?
just release a new understanding of an important doctrine @ jw.org.

What?!? "We just love this idea"????
When it becomes one of the fundament teachings of the organisational part of a religion, the rank-and-file witnesses are expected to be convinced about these kind of doctrines. And if you show in the local congregation some disrespect about these doctrines, you are marked and can be ousted or expelled by the elders, congegrational members, and more important, your JW family, who are teached in recent Watchtower article's that no contact can be remained, not even by use of email.
So, when all the witnesses have to believe in current and adjusted doctrines, the governing body members like David Splane can label an adjusted or new doctrine with the words "this idea" and publish this without any problem on the official website.
Thats what I just want to notice.

Where does all the JW money go?
by LouBelle ini want to know.. does every kingdom hall, bethel and assembly hall belong to the watchtower, bible & tract society?.
each of those kingdom halls, bethels etc are built with the money obtained by that country's contributions.
if a loan is needed the bothers of that specific congregation pay off the loan.. the society has then an extremely huge amount of property worth billions of $$$$ who has control of all those funds?

by Gorbatchov inthe do told us at the recent district assembly @ the netherlands, that if you have doubts about jw doctrine, you have to remain a strong connection with jehovah god, because "you are dedicated to jehovah and not to an organisation".. later on a very old brother was interviewed and he gave the counsel "keep your doubts about doctrine in a refrigiator, just wait and see".
the do asked him "how many refrigiators do you have?
the brother told him "i have 3 refrigiators full".

Since when is the so called "New Light" (about the FDS) published on the News-section of the officially website jw.org instead of in the study edition of the Watchtower?
The WTS use of internet has dramatically changed.
Strange effect of this new "marketing" policy is that the annual meeting news at jw.org only available is for English speaking people with a computer and an internet connection. If you're a poor witness living in the dessert of Eritrea, the news will reach you some years later.
But, conclusion of this topic, this is the first time that new light is officially published beyond the Watchtower publication.
