When was it time for you to walk away from your congregation meetings and the WTBTS?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe basic virtue for a human being is to be true to yourself – the integrity of thought, emotion, and action.. .
ten years ago ( after 32 years as a jehovah's witness), i finally decided that my own mental sanity and being true to myself was more important than attending congregation meetings and serving the watchtower society.
i stopped (years before) field service, the ministry school, answering at the watchtower studies, missed numerous meetings and walked in minutes before the meetings started and left after the closing prayer, i knew it was time to leave.

Do You Think “Higher Education “Is All That??

i’m no longer associated with the religion but i am not so pro university.
it’s not because i think you are better off without a degree.

JW.org is not a religion. My jw father told me aprox 1990 that it is more and more a lifestyle. He was right. It's a kind of social community. The opinions are "alt right".
Now with the new simple watchtower writing style, focus on lifestyle and a website that connects you with mainly life examples, check lists for succesfull christian life, we can say that the organization has found their professional stage in history. Better organized that now is not possible. But no religion anymore.

i went to the meeting on thursday night to hear my grandson and my daughter give their "talk" on the misery school!.
the very first part on the next meeting that follows the misery school was a 15-20 minute part, with a video of course, on the many ways to donate money to the wt!

Today I rememberd the evening I presented a talk at the KH school from the Proclamers book. It was about the conflicts of Rutherford. I decided to speak the truth about the ugly tricks of this president. About how he sended people far away with a one way ticket to Greenland and India. People he didn'nt like at HQ. About how he took control of the society. The audience was totaly quiet. At the end of the meeting I had to report in the second school and had to listen to a blast from an elder. "How do I explain your part to my children?" he shouted. It was the begin of my JW end. My father told me, you only spoke truth.
The proclaimers book gave a half truth critics to some scandals. It was unique and people started to think.
Later on a convention, the proclaimer book was replaced by a video serie.
The reason, as told by the bethel speaker, was because "JW's don't like to read thick books".
That's true, also.

Anyway coming back from my blunder?
by Crazyguy2 inmy oldest boy got pissed that i started going back to meetings so i had one last conversation with him as he moved out.
(only went back to try and not loose whole family) during the conversation things got a bit heated and i mentioned a couple of false prophecies in the bible the rest of family heard so now they think i don’t believe at all.
guess their right think my going back was just a ruse, yes that’s true to.

Impeachment hearings ...
by mikeflood inwatched a little bit the famous impeachment hearings....the witness sometimes when they were put on oath were with a smiled in their faces, others insecure, and the rest rightly totally outraged.... i turned it off.
too much time on the media for nothing.
it's like the russian thing didn't work to oust trump, and now ukraine maybe.
