this should be a good example for the gb of our church organization.
there are reasons enough: child abuse (conti case etc), failed prophecies (slave classe, un/osce), killing doctrines (blood doctrine etc, shunning / suicide) and fraude (investment corporation instead of church).. so it would be nice to read on bbc news: governing body of jehovah's witnesses resigns and make way for a new generation that embraces christian freedom.. gorby.

at the office today i had a "came across" with a jw colleague.
i was greeting him friendly.
he was greeting me with a forced "hello".. while saying the word "hello" he looked down to me, like i was inferior.. do you recognize these "look down's", because you are an inactive jw?.

how far did your network go in this organization?

Ehh popular. 4th generation, a JW family with a good name... MS on the way to Elder, did some public talks. Friends with a lot...
But that was the time i did not know what real friendship means.

this week i found the watchtower and awake magazine at the table of my brother and sister in law.. they looked like tracts.
the masthead "watchtower" and "awake" are written with a very small lettertype.. they look tiny and they are tiny.. i was thinking: the next version of the magazines are printed on stamp format.. gorby.

for the record, i am not a native english speaker, infact i recently just started studying english about 18months ago.
so apologies for any error you may encounter in the process of making sense of my logic.. i am from a small village in a destitute and war ravaged african country, 80 percent of people in my town live on less than 50cent in a day and myself included, no roads, no hospital, no public institution, no social welfare support, no national security institutiion, nothing, just tribal factions exchanging agricultural produce and i have always wondered why jehovah would have to put the preaching work ahead of a poverty eradication program at this desperate time of our existence.. .
it was an emotional adventure on finding answers to that question that led me here.

hello everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.. i am a mid 30's just stepped aside elder, who just couldn't handle it anymore.. i am a 3rd generation born-in and former pioneer and bethelite.
it has been a log somewhat confusing ride for me, but i am finally settling in to realizing that i need to really look at what me and my family are doing.. .
its funny though what really got me here... it wasn't the 40 year old men telling me they were looking at boobies on the computer and hoping not to get in trouble, it wasn't the watching young people bail left and right, it wasn't the ever changing new light etc... but a simple thought.. .

hello, i am new and i feel soooo wrong about being here.
anyway i am an m.s and have been disillusioned ever since the new understanding that came out in october.
i have read many things on this board that i have and also have not thought about.
I did what you did in 1997 @ hourglass.org and I know how you feel!! Bad!! It will change when you know TTATT.
