i saw the videos and started thinking about the "law of attraction", just recently someone mentioned.

This subject is extremely hard for many to grasp, and they blow it off as a muncha hooey. That's ok. One day it will be recognized. Once you are actually aware that this Law of Attraction principal is at work, and of the dynamics behind it, you will know.

It is extremely important that we line ourselves up with God and be supported by the Holy Spirit. In being in alignment with God, powered by Holy Spirit, you are naturally obeying the 10 commandments without them feeling like some set of rules. Experiences from everyone around you, and your own experiences reflect the thoughts being projected. Our world and experience is a result of chaotic thought out of alignment with God, and therefore, our lives reflect that.

You can change certain things within your own experience by changing the way you think about them. Simple. And sometimes not so simple. Exercise it! Work it and master awareness of what is going on in your head.

Jesus said it perfectly when he said 'As a man thinketh, so shall it be".

You can call it New Age, New Thought, Unity Christian or whatever you want. Ther are universal laws in action that respond and work with us, in all that we think say and do.

It oftentimes does not appear that way, for we say one thing, think another and on a deeper level, out gut feelings are saying something else. Example: Youwant to get out of a relationship that sucks. Here is the typical thought and feeling energy behind it:

I need a change. Somethings got to change. I can't keep doing this. I am going to get the hell out one day. I'm miserable. I can't afford to leave. He'll just come ofter me. What will people think? My family will all hate me. My kids will hate me. How would I survive? I'm going to get out of here one day. I'm going to just disappear and no one will ever find me. No one cares about me anyway.

Guess what? You are right. Your life does suck. Something does need to change. You really can't keep doing this. You do need to get the hell out....You are miserable...and on down the line you are these things and the cycle continues.

To you this is normal thinking and experience.

The way you think about a thing is pretty much the way you are going to experience it.

The fuel behind your thought is intention. Remember this for your prayers. That when you pray, that you are not supplicating to God, but giving thanks. Then being clear on what you'd like. Let it go at that point and give it to God to handle. Give reverence to God as you work throught the day, knowing it is Holy Spirit that guides you. Do for others as you would do for Jesus himself. Do not let the days drama suck you down to submitting to it.

The model prayer Jesus gave us is the framework for this.

hello - first may i apologise for capital letters my keyboard has gone screwy.

for the last several months i have been having meetings with two really nice women from the jw organisation.

i don't want to offend anyone by asking these questions i am simply trying to better understand how the watchtower came about without listening to too much anti stuff.

Those wonderful women have every good intention. Listen to me please.

I was 17 when two very nice women came to my door. I studied, I believed everything they said. I went to meetings and made my place there. I felt fake inside, but I thought that was just cos I was shy. They led me to get baptized and I was just 18. I did it because I thought it was the right thing to do.

You are very wise to question. Please do not stop questioning till you are satisfied and content with whichever way you go. The goal is to get you baptized ad make that like the Grand Prize.

Do as these people suggest: read about cults and read the experiences on this board. This board would not exist if all was well with WTS. You can know God just fine, even better without WTS. But you decide. We are here for whatever you choose.

secrets of the watchtower is a website which tells the incredible history of wts and it's founders, connecting dots like no othe resource.. i happened upon this site, but i have not had time to fully cover it yet.

has anyone else seen this site and is it as factaul as t appears to be?

if so, every one of us needs to read it.

You are dead on corrrect...it is the desire to create a one world government and so much more, including depoplualtion. No wonder they harp on Armeggeddon so much. They want to create it.. I spent the better part of the day reading through this material as I had not spent that much time with it before, just enough to know the jist. I nearly fell outta the chair on some things. There is some spooky shieten in that link.

If it says 'conspiracy theory' I'm looking deeper at it. That term has been given a bad rap. he cites many sources including th WTS itself.

I ran across this along time ago and bookmarked it for later reading. Looks like I shoulda done it waaaay back.

Spike I know you don't see things the way we do. You see things the way you always have seen them...walk the line,be a good servant and don't make any waves. That not a bad thing, in fact admirable. Have you been asking for guidance from God yurself? have you been praying something would give you an opening to meet with her and talk? If you have, then your prayer has been answered.

God answers prayers and gives us what we ask for. Jesus told you that often enough, and when you ask in Jesus' name, it wiull be done. If you miss the anser, then you were expecting one thing and God gave you another that you didn't recognize.

Being female, I am one to never call a guy unless I have an invite. Now I did make an exception to that . I had been searching for this man I had seen on the street for many years. One look at him and that was it! I had to know him. He was gorgeous! His words were kind and his manners were gentle. He played guitar to anyone who would listen and sang without a care in the world. His eyes were the Tru Blue kind speaking volumes that the depth of his soul was honest and good.

About three or four years passed and I saw him in a local restaraunt all by himself. I had come in to meet someone who never showed on teh spur of the moment and had just came from the shower, long hair dripping wet, clothes just thrown on, no make up, and hurried. And there he was. sitting at the counter with a glass of iced tea. I didn't think; I moved toward him and said things, can't even tell you what they were. He turned to me with those blue eyes and smiled. I gave him my number. and he called that night. We were together six years.

He was alot like you. in may ways. Extremely reserved. Hated crowds. was a loner. Highly intellectual. Didn't fit in.

OK, am I to unerstand she is new, and you are ousted and being shunned but still go to every meeting you can? I just want to make this clear. If you are DF'd and she is not even baptized, then you are both free.

Please correct me if I misunderstood. and clarify once more.

Is she in but not baptized?

Are you supposed to be getting shunned?

Spike knows God through the WT in his way and for now that suits him.

Spike, I am not siding here, just pointing out that our dear friend here actually said something extraordinary.

Here is an analogy: Boy ha a puppy. But puppy has to live in a cage, or kennel and can only be fed, played with and loved while he is in the kennel. He is well loved, and Boy really wants to hug him and hold him, and get his face all full of puppy kisses and run after balls in big green fields and take him places with him. But puppy must stay in pen. They can share love and show each other affection through the bars.

Guess which one is Boy and which one is puppy.

Why can't puppy come out? because he might do a bad thing, lke pee on something, or chew on something, or possibly run away!

But puppy needs a little guidance and training, and once he knows his place, will faithfully stay by Boy out of Love.

That is what you ave to look forward to in doing what Spike suggested, and as I suggested way back earlier in this thread. You do not have to be 'in' to know God. It is truth that sets you free, and truth says God is both out and in the borg. It is men that tell you God is only in the borg. They lie to keep you bound.

So dear one, should yo wish to come out and play, Boy will be delighted, but He'll still love you even while you are penned up. Just be happy .

he was in court and interrogated by the witchtower attorneys, even asked for his social security number, and quizzed on lying testimony they claimmed to have about "sins" which he had never committed.. here it is:.

the watchtower attorney grilled me about my internet activity: they asked for my screen name on jwd (now jwn) ... yep ... they are watching ... and they watch other ex-jw sites ... i have more to say on this another time.

So. I have nothing to hide. They cannot hurt me. They really cannot hurt anyone unless we allow it. I bet if they sold "PROUD to Be Apstate" T shirts alot of us would want one. It would prove their interest in business and not in serving God.
