Would/Do you wear a Cross around your neck ??

after all that we had drummed into us about not the cross, and particularly about not venerating the symbol itself, i have been wondering about this issue.. so, what are your views about wearing a cross around your neck ?

is it just a fashion accessory, or does it mean something to you ?.

inquiring minds would like to know

If God's Son Appeared to the Watchtower

if god should send his son to 124 columbia heights would the watchtower recognize his authority over them?.

if jesus came again in the flesh, went to brooklyn healed the sick and performed other miracles but spoke out against the authoritarian rule of the governing body and the hypocrisy of others who work there would they accept correction?

if he said the governing body and all their immediate helpers were to step down because now he was to rule the watchtower and correct their wrongs, would they?.

i "ve got to disagree with you on one issue , the might recognize who he was , but they would have a committee meeting to decide whether or not to let him be the boss! Need Help with a Debate

i am the editor of an online christian magazine.. i have a j.w.

friend that was participating in a debate with a baptist seminary student regarding the divinity/nature of jesus christ.

unfortunately, due to a death in his family, he could not continue.. is there anyone here who could fill in for him?.

ON THAT EVERYBODY AGREES , RIGHT ? RIGHT !!! THE ISSUE IS NOT REALLY ABOUT THE DIVINITY OF CHRIST. IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN YOU JUST NATURALLY BELIEVETHAT JESUS IS GOD"S SON. THE WAY A TOPIC LIKE THAT ALWAYS WINDS UP IS THE ISSUE OF THE TRINITY DOCTRINE ,"BASICALLY ALL THREE BEING ONE " THE WORD TRINITY DOES NOT EXIST IN THE OLD TESTAMENT OR THE NEW TESTAMENT. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DISCUSS A TOPIC"IN THE BIBLE" WHEN IT"S NOT IN THERE TO BEGIN WITH.

can someone from jhw tell me what this verse means to you?.

i ask other jhw and they told me this true god is the father god but if you read and study it carefully you can see plainly that the son jesus is the true one and only god jehovah.. what do you think?.

AND AS MANY THAT ACCEPT THE DEATH BURIAL AND RESURECTION OF JESUS THEY TOO

WOULD ALSO BECOME ADOPTIVE SONS OF GOD ,ALL IN AGREEMENT ALL OF ONE MIND AND AS SONS OF GOD, WHEN WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TESTIFY THAT JESUS IS LORD WE MUST DO SO.FAILURE TO DO SO WOULD BE FOR OUR PART DENYING HIM , AND NO ONE WOULD EVER DENY HIS FATHER OR HIS FAMILY , WE CAN UNDERSTAND THIS ON A HUMAN LEVEL. hey red .thanks alot for your reply ,i really appreciate what you had to say. i remember back in the year 2000 when i had a bad wreck and my son came to the hospital i was literally on my death bed.the doctors lost me three times.after 4 days i woke up to see a bag of blood hanging behind me,and would probably declined it if i had been given the choice. what i did find out that as the medics were airlifting me to memphis,one of my sons was on his way and me the chopper at the landing pad.this son was more attentive to me than some of the docs, was with me over a month and a half encourging me to be strong ,to get better and not die,. When i asked himwhy he was doing this he said it was in line with "honoring your father" As soon as i got home 50 days later ,by the way he brought me home,he hasn"t talked to me since .I found out from his wife that the committee got on to him and let him know in no uncertain terms that if he continued seing me and talking to me it would stand in the way of any more advancement in the congregation. I guess Ineed to wipe the ring of my butt and get off the pitty pot and appreciate that that he showed me allthe love he could while he was allowed, By the way my daughter was thwere every day too." god love em"thanks alot for your response it really did help..

first my standard "disclaimer" i'm not a jw, never been a jw...just trying to understand my jw mom.

ok...now i'd like to share with you guys that i've been listening to my mom ranting about the catholics for months now.

she doesn't miss any opportunity (no matter how small or inappropriate) to "witness" to me.
