  i'll try to explain what i mean.

  i belive that in every congo of dubs these days there is a large percentage that does not belive what the gb are currently spouting.

  but you will not find these people admitting this to themselves a) because they would loose status and b) they would have to admit to themselves that they have been wrong and living a lie.. to acknowledge this requires alot of humilty, and to stop that lifestyle and start again requires great courage.

  some witnesses come here and try to rebel rouse.

  some treat us very harshly and are very judgmental.

  what do you say to such witnesses?.

  Australia has one of the highest birth-rates of first world country’s and JW Increase has only gone up 1.3% kind of suss if you ask me.

  just remembered some insane old laws that were preached from the platform when i was in:.

  jazz: is a slang word for sex, therefore jazz is not for christians ( jw's).

  rock and roll: ditto it describes sex therefore is bad.

  I know to test my supplicants I will make reproducing incredibly desirable and temping then I'll teach them it's bad and not to do it to test their obedience to me?

  I hate that it gets to me!!

  just back from lunch and met two different former good friends from my congregation (i live in a small town) and they, of course, turned their backs on me... and it makes me feel strange and bad even though they're the ones who should really feel bad.... how can i learn to ignore it??.

  makes me both sad and angry at the same time.

  today i looked back on my old posts and realised almost everything i write of this board is negative.

  so i decided to post an experience i find makes me happy!

  first i should explain that i have a patio at the side of my home which borders a garden.

  Today I looked back on my old posts and realised almost everything I write of this board is negative. So I decided to post an experience I find makes me happy! First I should explain that I have a patio at the side of my home which borders a garden. It’s really pretty. Sometimes on a Sunday when I have made my Breakfast. I sit out on my patio usually with a book or magazine and look around my garden and feel the most overwhelming sense of just happiness. I thought this morning if I was god this is where I would want my meeting held it was just to nice a day to stay inside.

  So tell me what Stupid little thing makes you Happy?

  Were You Proud To Be A Witness?

  as a kid, i was.

  whenever i recieved "persecution", i knew i was doing something good for jehovah.. "worldly" people about my being a jw.. were you proud or ashamed as a witness?.
