Members of the WTS should keep in mind that we know who our enemies are by how we are treated, not by our membership in a certain tribe.
people here often use the example of the boroeans, who examined the scriptures to test 'whether theses things were so' to try and encourage jws to test their beliefs and see if they really measure up to the bible.. as usual, the society twist scriptures so that they mean the opposite of what was intended.

The spin on this is amazing. Lucky for Paul, his claims stood the test of the scriptures. I wonder if a stranger showed up at Bethel with some amazing claims on Jehovah's promises, if the meek Bethelites would eagerly search out the scriptures to see if that stranger were correct?

Hey, Bleep. You have stated clearly that you hate all FALSE religions. Any religion producing the good fruit listed above would not be false. I know many religions that produce the above fruit, and indeed I have provided you specific examples.
Which religions outside of the WTS do you show love to?

All I said was I was one person who could answer all the questions but It would be better if I take time to think about the question before I try to answer all the questions that are asked. Bleep
Bleep, you have put in 735 posts and started 13 threads in three months. A college educated scholar must be prepared to defend his opinion on matters that are being discussed. That includes responding to questions that are raised from those matters. Indeed, that takes time. Perhaps you should hold off starting any more threads until you address the mounting number of questions. At two responses a week, this could take you several months.
Even the President of the United States respects the questions of young citizens, and provides a thoughtful reply. Of course, he has a team of researchers and writers to help him.
Scholarly study is hard, but well worth the effort. As a baptized Jehovah's Witness for the past 10 years, have you read the bible through yet?

i have read many opinions about jw's being a cult.a dictionary describes cult as a system of religious beliefs and ritual .. some have viewed even major religions as a cult, such as the roman catholic church.based upon webster almost anybody or anything that is viewed as ritualistic could be said to be cultic.when someone tries to negate jehovah's witnesses by using.
the "cult" word, i believe they are not seeing that many others could legitimately be regarded as a cult or at least "cultic".therefore the word loses alot of meaning.
some have said that the watchtower is a cult because of the control factor.
Bleep, how many times in the last six months has your WTS instructed you to be "happy", because "Jehovah is a Happy God"? Most people do not need to be instructed when they should be happy or sad. This control over the emotional lives of the members is indeed disturbing.

apostasy is abandoning or deserting the worship and service of god, actually a rebellion against jehovah god.
A few of my own thoughts on Apostacy. It seems that word is bandied about far too freely in the WTS. During my studies of this word, the greek "falling away" is very similar to the word for divorce.
apostasia - defection from truth (properly the state), ("apostasy"): - falling away, forsake.(Strong's)
apostasion - properly something separative, that is, (specifically) divorce: - (writing of) divorcement.(Strong's)
Every leader of the WTS should keep in mind that such a divorce is a hard-hearted act, and would be unneccessary if everyone was acting in Christian love (Mark 10:5). And indeed truly, disfellowshipping separates children from parents, loving spouses from each other, grandparents from their offspring.
