  There is nothing so real as a personal story. Tatiana, you have given us all a gift, a picture of your sweet heart. Scully is so right that committing this story to paper - and now for us- is a lot of work. I expect as you get closer to now, the writing will get harder. It did for me. I worked out many of the hurts and wounds of long ago. I have new challenges today. I do not have my life sorted out in to neat packages, labelled and wrapped and stored away. Real life does not resolve itself as easily as a novel.

  Please, I hope, I pray, the raven haired girl is finding her way free of her bitterness. I know Tatiana, that you are coming out all right.

  hi, i'm a little bit nervous posting something in here.....this is the firts time.....i was just wondering what "good" or "bad" things you have to say about jw.

  i have been a jw all my life and my husband too.

  right now i'm in the process of getting out... or fading away....i'm not attending the meetings anymore.

  Hehehe, Elsewhere, and just like the JW's, nobody else notices or cares that we exist! I have to say the entire list makes entire sense to me. I can't tell you how much this one screws us up:

  You know that the last letter of the English alphabet is always pronounced "Zed".

  any tips on how to get thru convention meetings as painless as possible?

  i have the most awful time doing nothing for 4 hours straight.

  last time i resorted to doodling in my "note" book, but i got it taken away.

  I can relate to the note book. I created a cartoon character and two entire strips in one day. I was completely absorbed, and my honey was so proud. Good thing he wasn't looking too closely. I also don't go anywhere without my PDA. I have my bible on there, too, so who knows? I might be looking something up.

  The trick for you, I think, is not to be sitting with anyone you know.

  Of course, many who claim to love God really do not. They may be sincere about strong feelings that well up in their hearts. Such feelings are good, even commendable, when in harmony with accurate knowledge. But they do not in themselves amount to real love for God. Why not? Note how Gods Word defines such love: This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments. Love for Jehovah, then, is genuine only when it is expressed in obedient actions.

  the eagles have looked terrible all day, and donovan looks much worse this week than last week.

  i don't know why i get my hopes up w/ the flyers, sixers, eagles, and phillies.

  Now my honey wants to know if both the Eagles and the Phillies playing at "The Linc" next season? (I have no idea what this means, either).

  Episcopalians Rock!

  a couple of months ago, i wrote asking this forum for information about the episcopalians.

  many of you answered and i was intrigued by your replies.

  i was finally able to attend a service today and enjoyed it very much.

  It is great to see you gave it a try, Robdar. I would agree with the others here that it doesn't really matter about minor points of docrine. The Episcopalians will not require you to adhere to a strict code of conduct (unlike a certain high-control group we know about). Look for the fruits of the spirit, and take the rest with a grain of salt.

  ...and the organ, stained windows, interesting architecture and the great wine, are all bonuses. Sounds like you found a "keeper".
