Defeat of the Guinea Worm
Village Health Care Workers, first adopted in India and now found throughout Africa and other underserved areas of the world.
who are we fooling, as long as we humans exist there.
will never be peace even under god's rule.. i think god realize he have created a mess and said screw this .
and have left us on our own.. each day there is another crisis, what's next.... there is no solution to bring harmony among mankind, hell.

Do you drink coffee?
I'm unfailingly annoying in the morning. I wake up chirping like a bird. If you want to catch me at my worst, you have to wake me up at midnight (which my teenage children used to do, to discuss the stunning dramas of their lives).

Here's a book to help you feel better, "The Better Angels of our Nature" by Steven Pinker. Remember that peace stories are boring so they rarely make headlines.
The good news on poverty from Bono.
We no longer brutalize criminals as we did during the dark ages.
about a month ago, i realized that i didn't really care about my still-in jw family.
i just want to be left alone by them.
they caused me so much grief.
I haven't talked to my ex in over fifteen years. He's as much a jerk as he's always been, but my son keeps in contact. So I'm having my daily chat with my son and he says things are going well with his girlfriend, won an RPG game online, and his dad said some pretty nasty things.
"So everything is the same then?" I ask. My son still yearns for his absent father, but it does nothing for him to keep beating against that wall. I remind him that his father has not changed. All my son can do is change his approach (or walk away altogether).
i happened to come across a new (2008) theory on the evolution of live, by a biologist named eugene m. mccarthy.
he describes his new approach as stabilization theory.
i haven't read into it in depht, so i cannot make any informed comments so far.. this is his website: www.macroevolution.net.

No evolutionary theory attempts to explain how life began. The questions about the origin of life is another branch of science altogether, with its own set of theories.
that is similar as to show the same kind of deceit as the watchtower has done to its followers?
a movie i could show as a warm up to sharing some ttatt with someone..
A show that was effective with my hubby was TLC's Breaking Amish. A feature of the show is that they will flash a scripture, which hubby would agree with, and then show how its application plays out in the real lives of these breakaway Amish youngsters. Then hubby would say, "That's all wrong" but he couldn't say why. Scriptures are to be trusted, after all. That show disturbed him a lot.

Sounds like a franchise outfit. But what profit does the outlet get out of the transaction? This sort of arrangement means that all this equipment the local congregation invests in is automatically obsolete if head office changes the branding. Which it will have to do to stay, you know, current.
As an aside, an ex-JW buddy and I watched a triplet of carts installed outside our Heritage Days event. This event is hugely popular, attracting 350,000 people over three days. We watched the Witnesses for about ten minutes, and over a hundred people passed the cart with no interaction, other than the Witnesses chatting amongst themselves. Then an interested person approached the Witnesses, and attempted to engage them in conversation. The hand-selected cart supervisors backed up in alarm! They were not prepared for any sort of interaction.
The Falun Gong solicitation was far more engaging.

brief summary:.
the jws, backed by county commissioners, contend they have a legal right to build an assembly hall in the jedd.
We have lots of churches building in industrial sites here. The vineyard church especially picks store fronts and industrial locations. But what I've seen is they rent. I don't think they've clued in to the financial reward of build-and-resell.
