Ha! At first I thought you meant breasts.
Ha! Indeed. That too. But then, as a very experienced motor-car racer, I am keeping my full attention on my driving at all times.
i was riding to work yesterday when i observed a female driver who cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing the driver to drive onto the shoulder to avoid hitting her.
this evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and gave the woman the finger.
'man, that guy is stupid,' i thought to myself.

They have a model for Islamic women which is called the Burqasnuggie - it has a hood with an eye slot.
I have heard it only comes in black.

It really is often a problem with the Ferrari - many women like to drive right up beside you and take pictures with their cell phones. They usually do not keep much lane discipline while doing this.
So far I have been able to dodge them without contact. I remind myself that they usually have something that is at least twice as high and twice as heavy as I do...and that mine is made of mostly aluminum. Your choices are to sit there and smile graciously if blocked in traffic, speed off after a suitable moment if the road is clear, or just slow down enough that they get tired of pacing you if there are cops around.
One must always remember as an F-car owner (particularly with an older 12 cylinder) that almost everybody hates us anyway and thinks we are either midlife maniacs or just neorich anti-environmental jerks. Politeness is our best defense.
last weekend i was enjoing the good weather in holland with my mother and my kid sister, who still is a jw, on a terras, drinking a beer.. my mother always tries to tell something positive that happened at the cong or something that she read in the washtowel and then i react negative or not at all.
it's a kind of game i don't know.. this time she said something like despite the fact that armageddon doesn't have to come during the generation of 1914, that does not mean that it isn't near... and then my kid sister reacted on this and said yes...possibly 2012.... i was pretty stunned... of this remark.. has anyone else heard something about the jw's now focussing on the year 2012?.
The story is that a computer was made to outline the future of mankind and the computer stopped at 2012 because of how bad everthing is getting.
That computer is demonstrably not reliable - it is probably the same one that Nasa used to determine that a "day" was missing in the ancient rotation of the earth.
But then, it could not figure out why this was so until a god-fearing Nasa scientist brought in a Bible and showed how God stopped the rotation of the Earth for a day to help his chosen people win a battle.
My GAWD - why do the witnesses fall for all the pseudo-science fundy stuff so easily when they hate both science and fundamentalists?

Beep, beep - let's back up the truck here.
Is the poster claiming that he actually has real first century writings of the New Testament in the Hebrew language? That these are reasonably proven to be the very oldest New Testament writings by scientific evaluation?
Is the poster claiming that these writings clearly contain the tetragrammaton?
I did not think so! ...so we are back to the broken WTS argument that in places where much later transcripts use Lord or God in quoting older Hebrew scriptures they were well within their rights to just arbitratily put "Jehovah" into their English "translation".

Guess they do did learn from 1975
Even if they do deny that they ever actually said it.
how long does the society or christians say, "man has been on earth?
" according to the bible.. how long does scientist say, "man has existed on earth?
" which can be reasonably proven.. how does the neanderthals fit into the picture of the bible?.
The three oldest versions of the Old Testament, Samaritan, Hebrew, and Greek do not even agree on the number of years (added up by ages of the patriarchs) - respectively 1307, 1656, and 2,242 years.
And bear in mind that if you take this literally, (just picking one, like James Ussher) you are also accepting that ancient (or at least circa 4500 bc) people actually lived 600, 900 or so many years.
You are also ignoring the fact that early carved bone artifacts such as the Uganda-Zaire counting stick date to 9,000 bc; and that similar others far older have been found...the Magdelian (French) era from 15,000 bc, and the Czech Aurignacian era to 30,000 bc.
Although the witnesses hate scientific dating methods, the science is quite sound and there is little reason to doubt the antiquity of these obviously human artifacts.
i know of a few others.

Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower's mother was supposed to be a witness. Guess the anti-war and anti-government stuff didn't much rub off on him.
if you read comments made regarding mj's death, there are tons of people talking about his religion.
the fact that he was a jw that disassociated himself, is giving bloggers all sorts of ammunition regarding the rotten witness religion.
jws are trying to defend themselves and their religion and outsiders are clearly seeing how effed up jws really are.. good..
And the Jackson parents attended this public spectacle?

And the ironic thing is that any JW bloggers supporting him are breaking their own code and probably doing so at their own risk. But, maybe in this special case - they can count time on the internet...
