Wasn't she America's Junior Miss at one time?
She's beautiful.
And here I think we have rounded up the entire body of her qualifications.
i'm sure she is a real nice person, but i was disappointed to learn that diane sawyer was replacing charles gibson on the world nightly news.
she's always been very difficult to watch since whenever she disagrees with someone she's interviewing, she gets this "i just smelled something obscene" look on her face.
after that, her face freezes in this very sour look for some time.

ok, i'm sure i am not the first one to be in this predicament but it sure is a headache, my jw ex called a few days ago, apparently she has met someone (they're not dating of course!
) and she wants to me to hand over the golden ticket.
she wants confirmation either in writing or verbally to a third party, that she is "scripturally free" to remarry.. i have managed for years now to avoid any judicial action and my jw family members still associate with me, but that all could come to a screeching halt if i give her what she wants.. the only bright side is she totally robbed me on the divorce; if she gets married i am at least off the hook for "spousal maintenance", that would mean potentially thousands of dollars in my pocket.... .
Confess that you have had either anal or oral sex at some point in your otherwise spotless christian marriage.
i'd like to make a few predictions.... regarding tennis, the us open tennis champs will be serena and roger federer.. obamacare will not happen.. "the end" will not come in our lifetime..
Neutral.
Perhaps if we were more like Venequala, or Cuba, or Iran - the future would be brighter?

DeputyDog, America's slide into oblivion began long before Obama was a wiggle tail in his father's loins.

And we are happy about that, or are we sad? It seems to be a rather negative comment about both the nation and the current president.
i didn't see this posted yet.
youve got to work for it and train for it and learn for it.and this isnt just important for your own life and your own future.
you make your own future.
The controversy over President Obama's speech to the nation's schoolchildren will likely be over shortly after Obama speaks today at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. But when President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech on October 1, 1991, from Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington DC, the controversy was just beginning. Democrats, then the majority party in Congress, not only denounced Bush's speech -- they also ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate its production and later summoned top Bush administration officials to Capitol Hill for an extensive hearing on the issue.
Unlike the Obama speech, in 1991 most of the controversy came after, not before, the president's school appearance. The day after Bush spoke, the Washington Post published a front-page story suggesting the speech was carefully staged for the president's political benefit. "The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props," the Post reported.
With the Post article in hand, Democrats pounced. "The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students," said Richard Gephardt, then the House Majority Leader. "And the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action.'"
Democrats did not stop with words. Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate the cost and legality of Bush's appearance. On October 17, 1991, Ford summoned then-Education Secretary Lamar Alexander and other top Bush administration officials to testify at a hearing devoted to the speech. "The hearing this morning is to really examine the expenditure of $26,750 of the Department of Education funds to produce and televise an appearance by President Bush at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, DC," Ford began. "As the chairman of the committee charged with the authorization and implementation of education programs, I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event."

this post goes out to any active jehovah's witnesses who are either actively engaged in or simply lurking the topics on this web site.
my wife is a jehovah's witness who is currently an unbaptized publisher hoping (as she stated as her goal) to become baptized.
needless to say, i am not and we go to different churches (hers is the kingdom hall and mine is a small community church).. anyway, this past sunday (september 7, 2009) one of the brothers gave a talk about how some people pick a church based on the fact that it seems to "feel good to them" rather than base it on whether or not they truly teach the bible.
Revelation clearly says that only 144,000 persons (literally) are going to go to heaven.
(NOT)
This takes a stretch like a bungee cord to make into this doctrine.
i've been here a long time and this comment by quietlyleaving finally hit me.
bethels could still serve as pilgrimage shrines.
while the wts criticizes the many people in the world for their pilgrimages they just don't see that those tours of bethel which are so organized are the exact same thing.. you get a tour of a publishing company.
Seriously, Lady Lee does make an interesting point...there were less rules to visit the freaking Westminster Cathedral for crying out loud.
Remember how the guide lectured you to NOT TOUCH ANYTHING, and to only speak in whispers so that you would not disturb the holy printing work?
.
doe anyone know if there were any jw influences or overtones during the final mj funeral services?.
japster.
Maybe now that this one is over and done, they could have a similar service for old Judge Rutherford and finally put his remains to rest...

And, and - a Jehu's Chariot ride - and, and - a gratuitous "lets drop Jezebel from the upper floor window" scene ----- with animatronic dogs to lick her blood ---
Finally some good comes out of the notorious Squibb Pharmaceutical buildings...

Great idea - it could become the new Coney Island Boardwalk!
