  Given their mindset - the proof is simple: He returned invisibly because he did not return visibly at the "correct prophetic time".

  Manifestly simple - they simplycould not have been wrong about the date...

  This will undoubtedly get used (at least from the platform, if not in print) as a "bad example".

  Wonder if she gets a public reproof?

  There were (almost forgotten now) various semi-valid scientific theories which were precursors to Darwin.

  Again, like that special on Einstein and God, this kind of speculation (Darwin doing the theory because he hated God over the death of the daughter) really cheapen his integrity as a scientist - which was in fact a great one.

  It is sad to me to see Creationists stoop to attacks on the man himself (the ad hominem) rather than meeting the ideas scientifically.

  This cheapens only Creationism, not valid scientific discovery.

  Probably nobody knows what really goes on in marketing of one of these "science specials", but I would suspect some promotional benefit in publicizing this kind of "America afraid of an evolution science special" nonsense.

  Good grief - it is not as if we have not had all kinds of evolutionary science shows about Darwin before. And decades ago, the famous movie.

  BTW, I was actually amazed to see this Sunday - on the other hand - a practically revisionist Einstein special in which they equated his resistance to the Heisenberg-style Quantum Theory (uncertainty principles) to a practically Jewish belief in "God". They seemed to take great delight in pronouncing Einstein dead wrong (and maybe senile) as a result of stubborn God-fantasies.

  Einstein was not a religious zealot. His references to god were at most scientific euphamisms to the unknown and unknowable aspects of the cosmos.

  biblically speaking, god has many names.

  marvin t. wilson, author of the book "yhwh in the bible, divine titles, names and attributes will be the guest on the telephone conference call "in search of truth" this coming saturday sept.12,2009 to discuss this subject.

  since jehovah's witnesses insist on using what they say is the only name for god, jehovah, they may surprised to hear what marvin's research has discovered.

  Haven't the witnesses themselves made a printed admission that probably Yahweh would be a closer English approximation to the unknown ancient pronunciation?

  But in the same writing - they claimed that since "most of the world is used to calling it Jehovah" that this is what they are arbitrarily using.

  You know - aside from that "generation of 1914 will not pass away" idiocy,

  It is amazing what this lady was able to see during her lifetime - the first car (well, almost), the first airplane, WW1, WW2, (and all the rest), atomic energy (and bombs), computers, man walked on the moon, discovery of DNA, and so on...
