  have you ever wittnessed the fall of an "alpha family"?

  you know the family i mean in the congo, its always a 2.4 family,the father is always always an elder, the wife is always has an air of supremness who looks down her nose at all the other sisters, the kids always appear to be textbook straight of a watchtower illistration " how to be a perfect jw".

  they spend their time practiculay glued to the platform, showing everyone how they are not measuring up to their perfect example.

  and all round just making everyone feel unworthy.

  The WTS and Frequent Liar Points

  i have read on here of the frequent flyer points racked up by bethelites etc on wts business and it made me think of this.. .

  frequent liar points.

  the wts has told so many lies to its members, the public and the media that if there were points accumulated for frequent lies then surely they would have a huge tally of them.. .

  Stephen. I watched the video, it didn't convince me. The guy sounded as culty as the witnesses. Talking of demons, saying not believing will result in death and quoting scriptures just makes me squirm. I used to give a Public Talk "Is the Trinity a Scriptural Doctrine" and I was as convincing as the guy in the vid.

  A PO (or as they are now known Coordinator of Elders) I know had a goaty until recently. I think he shaved it off because he wanted a part on a circuit Assemby programme. Talk about controlling.

  Anyway welcome to the forum, I'm new here too, learning so much everyday, it is a great forum.

  Confessed my Doubts to my Wife

  well - i today i had the opportunity to tell my wife i no longer believe in the things that i have spent my life immersed in and that i didn't want my life run by 9 geriatrics in brooklyn.. her reaction was understandable her first questions was "what have you been reading"?.

  i didn't mention this site but told her i was shocked by something i heard regarding the wts's ngo status with the un, dissapointed by the new light on the generation and disturbed by the flip flopping on blood fractions.

  i explained how these things were at best hypocritical and at worst have meant some people have lost their lives unnecessarily because of the societies previous position.

  What will I do with all my suits?

  i just thought of something the other day as i was ironing some of my meeting shirts.

  it kinda of sucks, all the money i have invested in suits, shirts and ties, that i solely use for meetings, (not required for work).

  what the hell will i do with them when i leave the org once and for all?.

  Donate them to a Charity shop. Camp outside and watch all the pioneers swarm over the bargains. I'll take any Paul Smith or Armani off your hands :-)
