  he said the policy that jehovah's witnesses have on how to handle cases of child abuse is without equal in the religious community.

  why keep these forms secret?.

  Barbara, I have just come up to speed with what you are doing. I applaud your work. In the UK the issue was covered by a TV programme called "Panarama", being a good dub I didn't view it and I just swallowed the spin we were given as Elders the day afterwards. Your factual accounts have really opened my eyes to how the WTS have covered over over this issue.

  We have always been told that honesty is the best policy, if the society adopted this policy, they would have been able to set a fine example to other organisations on how to deal with those who use infiltrate their ranks in order to satisfy their twisted desires. Instead the WTBS are now seen as a cowardly, reactive organisation, that shows no true leadership. What a shame for those who still can't see through the scam.

  Question for those still active but no longer believe

  not sure if i'm posting this in the right section but hey-ho.. there are many of you here who have seen the light about the wbts but are either having to stay active so as not to lose your family or who choose to in order that you may be effective in getting your family away from the clutches of the cult.

  either way, you all have my sympathy, it must be tough.. my question to you is, what would you do if you were to be involved in an accident or fall ill and needed a blood transfusion?

  if you are awake and lucid you may be able to tell a liason comittee to get stuffed and that you are having blood.

  I no longer carry a blood card, this is a subject I need to bring up with my wife, but I think she will be OK with it. She has already accepted that our kids will be made "ward of court" if we try to stop them having blood, and accepts that there is no point fighting it. Our daughter was given blood after she was born due to very high billirubin levels after a premature birth. I have resolved that I will not listen to the WTS and my wife knows that. Noone esle does though except you guys and gals on here

  This is an emotive subject for me. I have stopped praying. I really did have a strong relationship with Jehovah, in that I prayed before every major decision. I now feel this was just like a talisman, giving me confidence to take the next step. I used to pray with my children, I have now stopped, I don't want to influence them to become religious, especially since most of their family are still in. My mother actually had the audacity to say to my daughter, recently that "She love Jehovah more than her parents", I said nothing but it made me so angry.

  I don't pray because I don't know if I actually believe there is anyone to pray to. My son who is only 6 keeps asking why god made certain things. I am finding it increasingly hard to answer his questions. I want to say "well god may have created (whatever it is) because ........ or it may have evolved because it has certain characteristics which enabled it to survive in (whatever habitat it lives in".

  So may years of WTS programming is really making me feel "dazed and confused" (just put that in for jimmy page).

  If I start praying again, the first thing I am going to show my thanks for, is this site and those who take take the time to post here.

  for those of you who either didn't have time to read amazing's amazing threads on the child abuse issue:.

  he was in court and interrogated by the witchtower attorneys, even asked for his social security number, and quizzed on lying testimony they claimmed to have about "sins" which he had never committed.. here it is:.

  the watchtower attorney grilled me about my internet activity: they asked for my screen name on jwd (now jwn) ... yep ... they are watching ... and they watch other ex-jw sites ... i have more to say on this another time.

  What can they do? They are just a minority cult with no influence except on the followers whoc don't see through the lies and control. Nothing I have read on here can result in legal charges, it is just exposing a bunch of money grabbing charletons. Bethel Boys, when you read this think about what you you see on here, stop wasting your precious lives on worshipping a publishing company.
