I used to phone the PO / COBE, during severly inclement weather, suggesting we cancel. I think he began to cotton on when I said maybe it was too hot on a glorious summers day!!!!!!!!

What products should I consider to ward off Deers?

To be open and honest with his mother, may result in a complete breakdown of parent child communication. It sounds an over-reaction, it is an over-reaction, but it is also a reality. By saying you are no believe the teachings of the Watchtower is saying that you are no longer a Jehovah's Witness, you have disassociated yourself, that course of action is publically announced and results in shunning.
What you have suggested is clear honest communication and in most social settings and would have no consequence, In a high control group the consequences are extreme. Allow Aeiouy to manage his exit from this cult in manner that will minimise the possibility of losing contact with his family. It will require a degree of dishonesty and may be uncomfortable and in the end it still may not work, but if the strategy is succesful you will have achieved a win-win.

by wobble inis there a way of saying tactfully to my superdub family that we do not want anniversary presents this year ?.
our 39th is on saturday the 12th and my wife says that as the family only have the minimum to do with us since our fade she feels it is the height of hypocrisy to buy us presents.. she also does not like my super-smug sister (who does ?
) who will come to our place bearing gifts we do not want from persons who will not entertain our point of view.. i cannot think of away that is kind, to get out of this, heeelllpppppp !!!!!!!!!!.

I would like to get my wife's family out out, I love them to bits.
My family NO............ My mum can rot in the org until she dies!!!! My brother is self righteous A-hole, who enjoys inflicting dispair on all so he can stay in too. I hope his kids see through it all though, they shouldn't be subjected to this crap for the rest of their lives. Poor sods don't have TV, were reading the Bible by the time they were 3 or 4, were living in almost commune isolation with the only social interaction from the KH until quite recently. My SIL forced my brother to move from the middle of nowhere to a more populated area so the kids could have a bit more of normal life. But she is a piosneer and nearly as bad as he is.
I have some friends and collegues who I would like to see the truth behind the troof. I am working on one who already has some doubts, got to careful though his Dad is the city overseer.
