i can not beleive what i just saw on the all news channel.

it was a commercial endorsed by the christain congregation of jehovah's witnesses.. the commercial starts off with a mom checking on her son,who can not sleep .

he is upset and by the drawing he did, you can tell it is about the world trade center attacks.

is it true that the society has done away with blood cards?.......and if so how do you know?

Does that mean that they have done away with blood cards? Or just didn't have them ready for the conventions?

* Of course, if they didn't have them ready for the conventions, one would have to wonder why a printing company cannot get the cards printed in time for to meet their own schedule(s).. [But I digress, as that would only be speculation]

Just think of the preaching work she can accomplish with her validictorian speech!!!

If you only spend 10 minutes speaking, but speak to 1000 people, can you count that as seperate 10 minute time intervals times 1000, or 10,000 minutes of time on her field service report?

Let's see, 10,000 / 60 = She has 166.66 hours of field service this month because she is validictorian. (ewwww, notice all those 6's)...

anyone remember what the 3 "secret sins" were, that the gb counselled us on in the late 80's & early 90's.

we were admonished to turn ourselves in if we were guilty so "da elders" could help us deal with them.

anyone remember?

Why did the society shut down it's radio station?

on an earlier thread about the wt's tv commercials i said that the society used the media before, more specifically i reffered to their radio station.

it seems to me that they quit using it because they were pressured to.

i remeber reading something, somewhere about the provacative, imflamatory nature of rutherford's remarks being the principal factor.

Take time to talk to your children..They should modify the script slightly:

"Hey, are you still up"

"Yeah, I cannot sleep - I keep thinking about what Brother x told me as he was touching me down there"

"Oh, what was that Billy"

"He said not to tell anyone or I will die at Armagedon"

"Oh, well Brother x is an elder, and we do need to listen to our elders. It's for your own good. I love you billy, and don't want to see anything happen to you. So, if brother x told you not to tell me, that is going against God's will, so do YOU want to tell brother x that you told me about this, or do you want me to tell brother x that you told me. Remember, brother x is here to help you."

WHAT !!! The WTS just got through comdemning the MEDIA as the tool of the DEVIL at the District Convention that Bill Bowen reported on ... and now they USE the MEDIA to ADVERTIZE !!! What Hypocrits!!! Thanks for this post, it is most enlightening. Btw: What 'all news' channel did you see it, Fox News or CNN or someother?

Awwww. Ya beat me to this.. I was jumping up and down reading this thread, saying, I cannot wait to show that even Jehovah's channel has decided to join Satan (heck they were with the wild beast, why not the real thing this time).

He went to his convention a few weeks ago, and I know he heard the warnings about the satanic media..
