  Are the JW's just as superstitious as any other religion?

  three years ago, my wife's jw sister of 55 became seriously mentally ill. hallucinations, hearing voices, acute paranoia, physically acting almost like a child.

  her and her husband, both have a masters in education, while he also serves as an elder.. why the background?

  because its their belief, even with their education, the demons are causing her problems and we, my wife and i, were the ones bringing the demons into her life.. for three years, she goes undiagnosed, while he refuses to get her medical help.

  Does anyone know how to clean a printhead

  i have a new cartridge on my laser hl-1435 printer, and it is printing very faded, they suggested to do a printhead clean,.

  and i don't know how to do that????

  can anyone help?.

  That is how I find out how to do things, is search videos on the subject...

  i know that what counts as swearing differs alot from region to region, amongst the words i heard used were "crap, bloody, shit, git, bastard, bitch" and the dubs who used these words would say that they didn't belive they were swear words at all!.

  i was thinking of the ones who would say to me " i don't like to read/study" " i'm not really academinc".

  are these people doomed to blindly follow the gb forever, thinking that all the study has been done for them and they will just belive what they are told?.

  is it mainly the smart thinking people who leave?.

  Just thinking about a TV program I watched one time, with this guy who had the highest IQ in the world. He lived in a little run down house, had a car and a motor cycle but niether one would run so he takes the bus. Virtually no money.

  Goes to show that rich people are not smarter than poor people.

  Growing up in a small town with a nick name Little Chicago, I have always thought that there is smart then there is street smart.

  I would rather have a heinz 57 then a high breed dog...

  Names of the Angels

  hi all, this might be a silly question but i am honestly thinking about it.

  i don't believe in god or angels but i am still curious as to this: the bible says that the stars are too many to number but that god knows them all "even by name".

  logically then he would know the names of all his myriads of angels, right?

  I believe I heard the JW's in a meeting stating or commenting that the names of most angles were not given to mankind for mankind would fall to worship the angles instead of worshiping the true God.

  This is a wild guess but perhaps Satan's original name was Lucifer

  Rubik's Cube: Have you solved it?

  my daughter and i just bought a couple of cubes because we just couldn't share the one.

  now, we are trying to solve them.

  palmtree67, I am sure you have some special gift.

  Memory is something that can be exercised by relating things that you want to remember in real bizzar ways. Like if you want to remember that you left your eye glasses on a television set, imagine lightning striking the antenna and electric current running all the way thru the wires and thru the tv then your eyeglasses glowing with light. That is the basics on how to exercise the memory. To remember combonations of numbers try adding parts that equal another number or relate the numbers with something else you all ready know. I have heard of people relating numbers and other thing to colors. Find what works for you and keep doing it and it gets better.

  To do large math in my head I added or subtract or what ever by imaginary 0's then put the numbers back in when I was done. It has been a long time sense I have done it so it would take some time to remember just how I did it.

  I did not know I could do algebra until about a year ago. I have noticed lately I can't remember how to spell a lot of words lately.

  Gee it has been a very long time for me, but I am sure that I have solved it several times. I am very good at math, I use to have some one tell me large numbers as they type them into a calculater and tell me if they are adding, subtracting, deviding, or muliplying as much and in any combo they chose and when ever they would stop I always had the correct answer.

  Snoozy, it most definately was not the moon. It did not have craters like the moon. At one time I was curious as to weather it was a reflection of earth but it did not look any thing like earth. So it wasn't a reflection, besides I seen it at two defferent times of day to believe that it was a reflection. It had color and shapes similar to mountains though. I could tell there were no oceans or bodies of water.

  I don't know if I would be able to recognize a photo of it now that it has been a while and I don't think it matters to me what it was, just that I know that I seen something and I am positive that there is a government cover up, no one is going to believe me any way, and I am tired and I will leave it at that until I see something again.
