those of us, who still had to attend the convention this year, for whatever reason, might remember the talk given about the difference between human rulers and the kingdom since 1914.. .
sure, one can find many flaws with human rulership, and paint a picture of the perfect rule of gods kingdom in a paradise, literal and even spiritual right now (whatever this means).
but, here is another aspect:.
democrazies
Ha Ha - love it.
forgot to do a spellcheck...its actually funny....

But, here is another aspect:
Human rulers, especially in modern western democrazies, manage to keep most people reasonable happy, healthy and well fed. Granted, even there some suffer from injustice, corruption and so forth, most subjects ususally are law abiding citizens more or less. Of course, there are always some, who defy any law, and have to be treated either with imprisonment or similar measures, but those are comparingly few. Most people just want to live in peace, and even if they may not agree with all the government does, remain calm, if basis needs are not touched.
If a government has to use brutal force in order to keep most citizens under control, we usually few it as big failure
Gods kingdom, on the other hand, even has access to supernatural powers (example preventing sickness, even death) and still cannot keep in control 99,9% of worlds population, but has to kill them in the big A.
Gods kingdom superior ? really ???
oh wow!....
i have seen some really pathetic instagram posts today..... so many have posted pictures of "all of us out in service in the greatest month of witnessing ever camapign"..... there are slide shows, with snapshots of old and very young in service handing out leaflets etc... it is really quite sad to see the hype building up!.
anyone else seen such things?.
hype here too , its so weird, I tld my wife, imagine 15 years ago you would have said, that the greatest witness ever given will center around directing people to the internet, you would be labeled weird or even satanic...
she agreed, and find this stuff also strange, ....(she is still half mentally in though)

for all those still being in, and cannot leave for whatever reason or personal circumstances, i think, at least in my case, this poem really expresses how one might feel being trapped in the org.
it was always my favourite poem, maybe subconsciously relating to it even before my awakening to ttatt.. .
its originally in german, but i found also an english translation.

Its originally in German, but I found also an English translation. Hopefully it kind of grasps the beauty of the poem, which is hard to do in another language.
here it is:
[Rainer Maria Rilke]
The Panther
His gaze, going past those bars, has got so misted with tiredness, it can take in nothing more. He feels as though a thousand bars existed, and no more world beyond them than before.
Those supply powerful paddings, turning there in tiniest of circles, well might be the dance of forces round a center where some mighty will stands paralyticly.
Just now and then the pupils' noiseless shutter is lifted. - Then an image will indart, down through the limbs' intensive stillness flutter, and end its being in the heart.
[Rainer Maria Rilke]

funny, some time ago, I heard from an elder, that in denmark they going to sell KH, and the reasoning of Bethel generally seems to be, that it is not too much for publishers to drive 40km one direction to a kingdom hall...
so much about saving costs for individuals, like they said after ending the bookstudy, its all about cash for the org...rank and file does not count....
it is total propaganda, no doubt, but it was well done, I have to admit.
Even though I´m more on the rational side of issues, and I do not believe in a resurrection how JW advertise it, still the video was quit touching to me.
anyone seen the drama on friday ?.
it was about a pioneer couple, when the husband, also an elder, lost his job, and borrowed money from a fellwo elder, who apparently was considered weatlthy.. the main lesson of the drama was quite ok, even though a bit overdone, touching on the issue of gossip and false assumptions.. but there were at least two subtle lessons, whitch were quite disturbing:.
1) no matter what happens, remain pioneering.

interesting what you mentioned about the clergy class:
I used to believe also, that we have no clergy,...thats why you can just follow the bible and everyone is equal, there are no secrets, no payments to an upper class, no special treatment.
Reality? There is secret meetings in bethel down to kingdom halls, judicial comitees, letters, elder books etc,
There are many benefits for higher ups, some living like maggots in the bacon
They are treated like saints, especially memvbers of the GB.
They may not be called clergy (except when they need the term for legal reasons) but they act and live like it.
oh, and lets not forget: Its a cult, period.
