  while most talk about the end of reporting for publishers, i think the doctrinal change is even bigger.. repentance after start of gt still possible?

  what does that mean for the judgement message, they pushed a bit lately?.

  will that be really just before armageddon?

  While most talk about the end of reporting for publishers, I think the doctrinal change is even bigger.

  Repentance after start of GT still possible?

  What does that mean for the judgement message, they pushed a bit lately?

  Will that be really just before Armageddon?

  What does it mean for the preaching now? If they are seriuos about human lifes to be saved, the main message has to be, that Babylon the great will be destroyed. Even if most will not believe it now, they have to remember who foretold it, so they can change their mind and be saved, when it really happens.

  Also how is the scripture in Revelation 18 to be understood? "Babylon has fallen, get out of her." Was the falling not 1919 but in the near future? Any more doctrinal changes in line with this big turnaround are necessary.

  recenty we had some contact with some jw.

  after it was briefly mentioned, that am iii is no longer a gb member, one of them mentiuoned about raymond franz.

  he called him a brother to fred frantz, who slowly slipped in some publications his own ideas, thats why he was removed, and some of his books discontinued.. it was just interesting, how badly informed some so called well informed witnesses are.....

He called him a brother to Fred Frantz, who slowly slipped in some publications his own ideas, thats why he was removed, and some of his books discontinued.

  It was just interesting, how badly informed some so called well informed witnesses are....

  i overheard my wife listening to '2023 governing body update #2, presented by kenneth cook jnr.

  a few points i got from it.. new hour requirements.

  good questions about their appointment.

  When it comes to the appointment of elders by holy spirit, the explanation is something like this: The holy spirit outlined the requirements in the inspired scriptures for an elder, and if a brother fulfills them and is appointed, it is like holy spirit did it.

  Now how would they argue regarding governing body? There are no requirements in the scriptures, its not even mentioned. And regarding the slave, it was only mentioned, that he is faithful and discreet and distributes spiritual food. But this he only can do, after his appointment. So how do new members qualify then ? And how is Jehovah (or holy spirit or whatever) involved?

  at least 6 or 7 killed, dozens injured.

  single shooter on the run, police doesn't rule out more shooters.

  horribel incident, no if, ands or buts. There is no excuse for such an abhorrent act. My condolences to all those affected by it.

  Nonetheless, I see in the upcoming days or weeks JW practice of shunning being targeted by media outlets. JW will usually defend the matter by (wrongly) conflating shunning with disfellowshipping. If they get hard pressed, they will scream persecution and nothing changes...

  Maybe a little glimpse of hope regarding the changed setup of the gb ???

  does anyone know the reason why?.

  It was never studied at book study. The reason I know is, because when it came out, I really liked it and hoped for it to be studied, but we never did. And I was too lazy to study it myself anyway...

  We dont know, however, we must be careful not to assume too much.

  The video, with him buying whiskey at a remote store certainly looked suspicious, but is in itself prove of nothing.

  Personally I dont like that guy and his talks, however, it does not give me the right to slap all kind of other unsubstantiated accusations on him.

  Claims like that backfire fast, and we are once again disgruntled ex members who lie whenever we see it fit.

  Two days ago, a reliable source, who has connections to personal acquiantances of AMIII told me the real reason: Health issues.

  Now of course, it still could be a cover up, maybe for alcohol problems etc, but we may that never find out for sure.

  How Will They End 1914 Teaching?

  i'm sure this has been discussed, but 1914 has to go away.

  instead of, the overlapping generation teaching, they should have just ditched 1914. .

  they should have done that a long time ago with 1975. it's the last of the teachings in the charles taze russell era.. i'm thinking they just will stop talking about it, and it will be out of the mind of the rank and file loyal witnesses .

  New blood card system in March

  there is going to be a hole new system of blood cards this march .

  the congregation won’t hold any information as they did before from march it will be all put on the pub.

  i think it’s to do with vaccines and they are worried now they got everyone vaxed and they want to distance themselves from medical responsibilities and say own personal decisions.
