The WTS has condemned any social internet web sites, especially sites such as this.
If the elders came to know of one using this site, then, depending on the attitude of the person, it could result in a df.
just wondering if you can be in a jc for being on apostate sites.
i'm not talking about if you clicked on something by mistake.
does it say it in the elders book?.

I was never a squealer but for some reason at one time ones came to me with tidbits of gossip and slander.
someone has traced 39 relatives of his.. someone said this adds no new knowledge to history.. .
Yes the relatives should be left in peace. But people love such and they often times want the relatives to suffer for what one relative did.
Wow that is alot of money for raising children.
its friday, and you know what that means?.
its time for the weekly tradition of sharing what your name means and why you chose it.. there has to be a reason, and it must reveal to us something special about you.. sure this post has probably been run by the forum before, but many of us are new here, and 'by golly, we need to get to know you all better.'.
even if you are using your real name, why and the heck are you using it?
I despised the back-stabbing lies that the co and former fellow elders did.
Therefore I selected the name straightshooter in my appreciation of not siding with these lying back-stabbers.
my daughter was researching self-defense techniques and came across this e-mail sent from a victim to his mugger:.
"this is an excellent self defense story no book or paypal required.. .
to the guy who tried to mug me in downtown savannah night before last.
This was so funny. First time I saw it.
If the story is true, the mugger certainly deserved it.
i think the religion works on guilt.
everyone is made to feel they're not good enough some how or perhaps they practice a "secret sin" and it gnaws at them.
so they decide to pioneer or "do more", recognizing they can never really make up for whatever shortcomings they have.. were you a guilt ridden jw?
I have to agree with bigwilly. I felt constant being watched and monitored. Funny it got worse when I became an elder. The CO wanted to micro-manage and the alpha elders constantly wanted you to stay on their side of the issues.
just give your personal thoughts and view.... what are your coping skills....the epitome of your personal motivation in life ??.
long term goals... or short term" one day at time "(for example ).
.
Where will I go? I go to secular work every Monday through Friday. I enjoy it. I should not say this, but I enjoyed my secular work more than going to the meetings and field service when I was regular. I am lucking that my co-workers and boss are understanding and friendly. And I feel I am actually accomplishing something.
Who do I trust? I use to trust the elders and traveling overseers. BIG MISTAKE on my part! I do not fully trust anybody now. I do trust my wife to a limited extent, she is still a zealous jw. So even with her I feel I have to be careful in what I say.
i am just sitting here at work, and this memory popped into my head.
it makes me laugh now... but when it happened, i was puzzled.. it occurred waaaay back when i was a good lil' jw.
there was one of those 'circuit' assemblies that they held locally, and i volunteered to work in the sound department.
Those were the days. I remember when I was younger and going out in the field ministry, just me and another young sister. We spent hours in the car, just the two of us, making return visits. Though something could have happened between us, nothing did. We were very close friends.
Anyway, that sitiuation would never be permitted today. I even heard of a congregation banning brothers and sisters from picking up the opposite sex to take to the meetings. That even includes if the sister was in her 80s and the brother was in his 20s.
it's sad to me that while people who are still inside the org.
realize there are problems, have chosen to deny and/or ignore the plainly seen holes in jw theology, still remain and state they do so because they want to be loyal, that jehovah deserves their loyalty, and that they want their life to stand for something, for opposition against dark forces that seem to rule our world.
this saddens me on a very deep level.
Thanks for your post. Some I think are loyal because they don't know where to go otherwise. For example, when you are taught and sincerely believe that hellfire is not real, then where can you go when you find that the WTS is wrong in other areas?
