My sister's house burned down

she and her husband live in rural wisconsin.

they were away for their anniversary when their home burned down, killing their three cats.

they lost everything.

Sorry to hear of this catastrophe and the loss of belonging and pets. But it was good to hear that your sister and her husband were not physically hurt.

The jws, I have talked to about the new generation explanation, even older ones, did not care. They would follow the GB no matter what they said. Really sad how they can't reason on these teachings from the GB.

Do You Realize That Almost EVERY Society Publication Is "Old Light" Now?

now that the "faithful & discreet slave class" has become essentially the governing body since 1919, almost every publication is obsolete and useless!

(i know, they are useless)..... the fds doctrine is a core teaching unique to jehovah's witnesses and now i believe they will have to change all of their understandings that are recorded in the revelation climax book, ezekiel books---every prophetic book written by the society!.

So that is why their Watchtower PC/online Library does not contain any old publications. It may get too confusing to a diligent reader of the JW publications to include old publications.

our friend, oompa, has passed away.

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

i understand that the judge's book "millions now living will never die" has undergone a slight of hand change of title to "millions now living may never die.".

where could i find the new title in print in any wt publication?

i do not have a wt library anymore, and would like to show my mom how they have changed the name of the book in their references to it..

Since the anointed upon their physical death will be living in heaven. So they did not really die. Does that mean that millions of jws are in heaven ruling with Christ instead of 144,000. So if Rutherford meant heaven or earth, he came up wrong!
