Streets76, I don't think this is a trivial matter.

Would you pose as an "interested one" and "study" to help free my family?
by Essan in...in return for someone else doing the same with your friends or family?.
this is a hypothetical question to see how many would be interested in something like this and if it could work.
(i created another thread about this but the title and op wasn't clear enough.

Brother Andre is still runing the good race after coming back from wandering apostacy lol
by PHOXPHASE inws-e-2011/09/15 pg.
11. andrew is an example of someone who did that.
when he and his wife learned about jehovah, they decided to serve him.

It's a pity that Jehovah doesn't find jobs for all of his creatures, only the fake ones on the pages of The Watchtower.
I would suppose that, if Andrew wanted to give fine witness of his commitment to Jehovah, it wouldn't be a problem to say what company he worked for, in what circumstances he quit, how much he was making, what sum he considered to be "just enough to last for a few months", what his definition of "a few months" is, and just how generous Jehovah was with him in his new job.
I would also choose "The Simple Life". Nicole first.

Little Do Non-JWS know but that is God's plan: Destroy the governments and put jws in charge

I'm pretty sure that Amazon and Barnes and Noble would face Armageddon much sooner than anyone else. Why should they exist, if the Watchtower already exists?
Facebook would go away, too...

I've already blown it with my wife. The only thing I can do for her now is be there for her.
You're a good man, Gary.

Talesin, I have all three: Infidel, The Caged Virgin, and Nomad. I gave the first two to the witness I was interested in. It's sad that she could not connect the dots as to why I was giving those to her, while my young niece immediately did. She did notice the more atheistic message in "The Caged Virgin".
I'm sure you will love "Infidel". May I suggest other books?
Marjane Satrapi, Iranian woman who left Iran (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_15?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=marjane+satrapi&x=0&y=0&sprefix=marjane+satrapi
"Persepolis" and "Embroidery".
Ibn Warraq:
"Why I am not a Muslim" The chapter on women is very good (well, the whole book is).
And then, it would be nice if you could read V. S. Naipaul's "Among the Believers" (http://www.amazon.com/Among-Believers-Islamic-V-S-Naipaul/dp/0394711955/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1308841647&sr=1-1)

I see. No objections. I like the idea of being "proactive". I just wanted you to notice this small detail.

Repeat thread: Don't you sometimes feel all the changes in doctrine are deliberate attempts at keeping you in fear of the unexpected?
by dgp ini made the stupid mistake of not adding a title to my previous topic, so i corrected the mistake this time.. in "the ayn rand lexicon, objectivism from a to z"(http://www.amazon.com/ayn-rand-lexicon-objectivism-library/dp/0452010519/ref=sr_1_1?ie=utf8&qid=1308711714&sr=8-1, i found this (pages 248 - 249);.
it is a grave error to suppose that a dictatorship rules a nation by means of strict, rigid laws which are obeyed and enforced with rigorous, military precision.
such a rule would be evil, but almost bearable: men could endure the harshest edicts, provided these edicts were known, specific and stable; it is not the known that breaks men's spirits, but the unpredictable.

Thanks for your answers. You know, maybe it's not a deliberate thing in the sense of thinking, as Sir82 suggests, "how are we going to screw the publishers this month?". But I do feel that fear is there, and I also feel the effects are such as those Ayn Rand described.

Just one question. The witness community is small. What if someone you met before happens to see you acting as an interested one?
