E-Watchman says you apostates will soon do an "evil work"
by yadda yadda 2 inhttp://e-watchman.com/.
"at this late hour millions of jehovahs witnesses have already been stumbled, including people once associated with jehovahs witnesses such as family or relatives of jehovahs witnesses, and there are those many millions who have partaken of a bible study with jehovahs witnesses but who did not commit to become jehovahs witnesses, who are now increasingly, often rabidly, hostile to the watchtower organization.
those legions of stumbled individuals, united through dozens of internet discussion boards and so-called "recovery" groups, are now unwittingly primed to do an evil work during the hour of darkness soon to engulf this wicked world.

The E-watchman guy is an apostate but some how his apostate ideas are better or more accurate. The people who are are still 100% committed to this cult have my sympathy. They are not bad people they just are conditioned. I would be there to support any of them if/when the society collapsed. I also would not take "I told you so attitude."

Sounds like idolatry. The organization is everything to them... Such arrogant pride makes me want to puke.

'Giving Attention to the Needs of the Circuit.' Sooo uplifting...
by whereami inthese people just love instiling guilt on these poor souls.. .
at a recent circuit assembly a circuit overseer gave an awesome talk during the portion, 'giving attention to the needs of the circuit.
and with such a high pricetag, please don't let it be empty.

These talks miss their intended audiences but do have certain results
1) Make the super righteous feel even more smug.
2) The ones who miss the occasion meetings for human reasons will feel guilty and conform....
Some people would goto meetings even if they were near dying or had really serious family issues, i.e. parent on verge of death. That made me sick.

DF'ed JW dies, family regrets shunning
by MinisterAmos inthe wife's aunt was df'ed right after the 1975 fiasco for getting married in a catholic church.
pretty harsh wouldn't you say?
anyway, her hard-core niece , my wifes' cousin patty, as well as many other loyal dubs followed doctrine and refused to have contact with her other than to urge her to return to the dubs after every wt meeting that told them to "reach out" to the dfed ones.

Since the teaching of JW is that death absolves sin I wonder why they don't let disfellowshipped people have funeral in KH.
Stupid rulemaking, I hate it -

Faders, How Often Do You/Did you Want to Pull the Pin on that Grenade?
by OnTheWayOut inmany here have stopped going to the kh and many have just reduced activity to some degree.
while today is not that day for me, i have had the "screw it all" attitude every now and again and was ready to tell the wt off, call the p.o.
or whoever, call my mother and tell her all about the "god-damned cult" she's in and why it's just wrong.

I want to celebrate christmas and birthdays. This year though I got a small xmas tree that can be hidden if we get an unexpected visit from the holier than thou brigade. I'd really like to just forget about it all but when you have family in the "truth" its hard because you dont want to hurt them. On the hand who are you living your life for??? I dont want to hide who I am but I don't want to hurt people either.
I just really wish they could see outside the society bubble that they live in. For once take an objective view at their religion. I think only a shock jolt can free most from the control. I had been having doubts about the stupid blood policy for a while but it wasn't until I experienced the wonderful "shepherding" of the elders it made me realise how removed their were from Christ. The thread soon started to unwravel.
Now I'm kind of in between. I won't close the door on my belief in God/Christ but I won't ever let a man dictate to me what I should and shouldn't believe.

Something My GF Noticed.........
by ColdRedRain intoday, i was hanging out with my girlfriend and we were bored and cold, so we went over to my mom's kingdom hall just to show her what a cult looks like.
i was demonstrating to her how the witnesses use vague, emotion driven speech to try to conjure up the strong feelings in their members so they could control them easier, but i didn't pick this tiny tidbit up.
we kind of listened to the beat of the kingdom melody and we noticed something very odd.... the kingdom songs' cadences are the same rythmic cadences a hypnotist would use to hypnotize a person..

Dark days are here.,
Men live in fear ...
With dire expectation as to all creation??
Remember that song. The first part was slash your wrists and the second part was jump up and down. wohoo.

I think with internet and the freedom of information a lot more young ones are going to leave the "truth" much earlier. I wonder if the GB will ever issue instructions to treat "faders" as disassociated ones if they do not come back to the fold within a reasonable time frame.
Even when you are faded though you always have to be watching your back. Sneaky JWs everywhere....
