jw's are social bloodsuckers.They take take take and give nothing but there efforts to convert people.Most of their humanitarian works focuses around people in extreme crises or a disaster becuase these people are easily susiptable to the thinking of others who seem to be helping them.This is why the areas of greatest growth are the places facing horrible poverty and or disease.ANYWAY works doesnt have to be particularly spiritual as others on here have said its good works towards people that exspress your faith.e.g helping the poor and needy becuase it is your faith that that is what Jesus would do and you feel that is important.

taking good advice and sharing about myself(a little)
by freedomisntfree inim 20 from a family of both sides 3rd gen jdubs and ive been generally inactive minus assemblies memorials and the occasional meeting for 3 years.i dont what all im supposed to include in here....i left becuase:(not in order of importance).
1)i felt and feel personally failed by the organization by allowing my siblings and cousins as well as many friends and there mothers over the years be sexually abused and mistreated.. 2)to much conjecture and flip flopping the "nobodys perfect" exscuse wasnt cutting it anymore.
3)i want to help people in a real and unconditional way not just for the purpose of converting them.

well thanks guys but im sure ill f*** my kids up later on in my own special way.My sister has been raising her son non jw as she is d'fed and theres a big difference between her child and my brothers(who is a fanatical jw).There only 5 and 6 and their already displaying a lot of the anxiety issues and childhood depression that my siblings and I had .Luckily there mother is not a witness she goes to the meetings with my brother and shes become a publisher but they havnt really taken her in mentally and hopefully wont.Her family provides a lot of normality for my neice and nephew that I never had.

well i have a few good friends but i find it hard to trust people as i dont know what to exspect from them.I usually end up being walked all over by most people i try to be really good friends with becuase i pressume people will do the right thing and respect me but they usually screw me over.I must have victem written on my forehead

It doesnt feel free with my family mouthy but thanks for the support.
Oompa-I ve made a few good friends who are non jw. Some of my best friends are in an inbetween place some believe and beat themselves up becuase they cant live the lifestyle and others are so angry and jaded becuase of their experinces theyve lost all faith in anything.Its a sad state of affairs and the whole jw issue strains our friendships.

Could Watchtower Collapse Be Sooner Than You Think?
by metatron inthere have been a number of developments over the past few months and they paint an interesting picture.. witnesses can keep dragging themselves to meetings ad infinitum however, the future of the watchtower itself is another story.
the evidence of continuing cash flow problems is now overwhelming.
if you talk to well placed witnesses, most won't deny it but simply blame it on the publishers financial problems.. they have cut off loans to congregations many of whom genuinely need new kingdom halls.

Me and my long d'fed sister have talked about this extensivly; if nothing drastic happens politically to fufill the last days stuff in the next ten years there will be a massive "falling away" BUUUUTTTT unfortunatly the wt will spin it to their advantage.They scorn the unbelivers push up the evangilical dogma and tell the remaining few they re very very special and important and the only true belivers.Theyll be able to keep thoose few poor individuals for the rest of their lives but growth will stop.

hahaha I love making j dubs feel awkward its a sport of kinds as cruel as that sounds. When i was younger me and my friends would try and create awkward silances at get togethers or keep talking on a different topic in response to some sort of "spiritual encouragment" untill they got confused and walked away. You can defer alot of judgementand hastle etc by acting oblivious or just plain weird

one time in my old hall the stage was vacant during the opening song and a mentally-deranged study walked up and asked everyone to please sit down.
hahaha thats so great witness reactions to unplanned events or behavior is almost always hilarous.I got spoken to a few times about wearing a denim skirt but luckily my feisty mother ripped that elder a new one.
