The Jehovahs Witness family weekend
by jambon1 inhaving been out of the organisation for over 4 years and having finally released my kids from the hellish existance that is life as a jw, it struck me today how enjoyable our weekends are in comparison to when we were jw's.. the weekends are vital for us just now.
my wife doesn't work but i work full time from very early in the morning.
i don't get to see my beutiful children in the morning during the week.

Mr. Flipper Talks with Bethel Legal Service Desk Rep About JW Child Abuse
by flipper inwell - i had been wanting to do this for a long time , to question a legal department representative at bethel about the child abuse settlements and jw child abuse, since last year when the news came out about it.
especially since my dad , an elder for years was never aware of it and has on his own taken steps to see that families with children are informed if a former pedophile is in their congregation.
i was curious as to what the current views and policies in place are .

This is so true! My brother has wildernes survival gear for his whole family in exspection of the "great tribulation".He fully exspects to live with his severly diabetic wife and 2 small children one of wich who also has diabetis in the forest once persecution starts untill armageddon.There are diffenetly witnesses who dont take it all very seriousl but in my experince the ones who do really do!

it appears to refer to those who are awakening and learning that the wt is just another religion that uses mind control to hold us captive, but for numerous reasons cant leave the org.

What is the WORST witness social function you went to and WHY?
by creativhoney inmy sister called me tonight, and reminded me of this, i had forgotten.
- there was an engagement party and the whole cong was invited.
- the fourth of six kids, and it was in a function room with no bar.. everyone was allowed one glass of wine and no one was allowed to bring any.

Even the worst was never that bad the food was always great if i was bored i just sat in a corner and stuffed my face(no i wasnt a fat child) lol but one that was kind of horrible was when i was 14 or so they had a bible dress up party and i just wore my usual clothes and makeup and chewed on painkillers all nite and if anyone asked me who i was supposed to be i said jezebel.It got a little scarey for my drug addled mind eventually.

This is the kind of thing that REALLY bothers me that people know things are wrong but choose to stay anyway.Some even more consciously then this jw.A loy of people on this site are doing that very thing and i know theres a lot of reason to stay in family,job connections etc but theres an even bigger reason to leave- to be able to look at some-1 in the mirror who isnt living a lie.However it all goes down in some sort of end time if such a thing exsists i dont think anybodys going to be getting the best faker award so whats the point?

because they are mentally conditioned thru 5 mind control meetings per week to ignore jests of any kind.. (the gb would never allow jests in the artwork).
