  i'm new but it's nice to be among people who feel the same i do.

  i am a beginning fader.

  i was raised in the "truth" and am/was very popular elder's daughter and social life of the congregations.

  Big Surprise!!

  so last night i'm chatting with my wife about some things i had read on this site, when she dropped a bomb on me.

  see we have been attempting new non-jw friendships, to make our fade a little more bearable (in her case since she has so many jw friends).

  i have been trying to do this for her and told of a few i've found here, and on facebook.

  And to everyone, yes it was great surprise to see her registered on here. We have a ways to go, but i think we may be headed down the right track. We'll see...

I have been trying to do this for her and told of a few i've found here, and on facebook.

  I tell her about this poster who seems to have the same situation as us going on. I pm'd this poster and i was telling her about this persons response.

  She's grinning from ear to ear...

  "Can i tell you something?" she asks.

  "Of course..."

  "That poster is me!" she says while laughing. Unbeknowst to me, she had registered on this site, and has already said hello to all of you. (I myself welcomed her to the board! lol)

  I can relate to how you're feeling. Isn't it horrible that this organization makes us choose on following rules and having friends, or living our life and losing our loved ones?

  being a born-in i don't have much friends, in or out of the org., add to that the fact that i have been a stay at home mom for the last 4 years has made it even harder to meet anyone.

  (i found out the truth about the wts shortly after deciding to stay home).

  What if those df'd......could they?

  i've recently seen that some teaching have changed.

  so my question is, if someone was df'd for instance for divorcing there partner for having gay relations and this was years ago when there wasnt grounds for it, so they were df'd, if now because the understanding has changed, could they appeal and be reinstated with a public apology?.

  An Appeal

  yesterday ae made a rather glowing statement about me in which i quote below.

  "you keep trying to fool yourself, you know there's a problem, it was pointed out to you in the past, i'll say no more , but yes there(sic) warnings must be true and for my kids safety i cannot have any dealings with you.

  i'm aware of your past, i gave you the benefit of the doubt, but i'm a parent and have to always safeguard my children.".
