God of Abraham vs God of Moses (and other gods)

many people say that the bible has contradictions.

many find that god seems to be inconsistent in his dictates, and even unjust acording to their own sense of fairness which comes from conscience.. could it be that these contradictions arise because people believe that the bible portrays a one singular true god?

if this were so then there is certainly evidence to be found that this god is neurotic and has a terrible case of ocd, what with all the rituals of "do this three times, then turn toward the east, etc.".

You can trace all biblical stories back to three main areas...

China/Asia... The yellow emporer and the Golden Aeon/Age/Era...

North Africa...

Native Americans... (though that isn't the true name for them... They live by different names throughout their land...)

They each a slightly different version of their own 'truth' or knowledge, they teach their families in much the same and for the most part the ideals they would have tought were of harmony with those around them... With the environment and in their own lives... Spirituality was their life, it wqasn't till the written word came along and then with 'law' that there was Dogma and holier than thou...

The Bible we know today, including the Kuran/Quran is from the Egyptian / Etheopian tales or religion...

some of my christian co-workers have related to me how jesus has spoken to them.

one of the comments that i remember specifically, was this:.

"jesus put it on my heart to [take a certain course of action].

I've wanted it many times...

But alas, no I have never had the privelidge...

A friend of mine has had him talk to her, she is NOT xtian and will never claim to be, though her account makes absolute sense, she considers herself a 'lightworker' in essense...

I belive that the Jesus that is 'real' is a lot different to the Jesus from the 'bible' that was put together by Constintine to control the masses in the roman take over...

okay here's what happened:.

my sister who i'm living with just came down stairs to tell me she was on the internet with her daughter and husband talking to this psychic and she was all nervous and excited.. she know i don't believe in the stuff, btw the last two girlfriends i had lived with on and off were both claiming to be psychic, and they were 40-60% correct but i could see that what they predicted were mainly driven by their own ego's, so i never put much stock in what they did just humor them.. so she said that this guy(psychic) was 100% correct.

she asked him questions like:.

I want to be appointed as an Elder while I am still posting here, will Holy Spirit prevent me?

just curious.. has anyone successfully tested the 'power' of the holy spirit by being appointed even though they were not zealous jw's?.

once i get appointed, i'd resign within a week.

'coz i would'nt stand jc's and df'ing people..

The very belife in holy spirit is a pagan ideal, it has divinition qualities to it and is reddiled through time lost tradition... So if you belive in 'energy' of people, then 6,000,000 strong (minus those of you on here ) would create a form of spirit, but really you can use it too...

The way I have seen it to be is that being in with the dubbs you are part of their energy, and you are in a sort of cage... now this cage either is a protection or a blockage... It would and does protect against a lot of nasty things... Bad energies etc, though also you are missing out on all the wonderful energy that comes from life too...

I've recently watch the new DVD from the bORG... It was great but as I watched I realised they will never know what life is or the energy around it...

Only those who look for it will...

Though to answer your question, if the holy spirit can be manipulated, which is the energy from the 6m bORG, then no it wont and yes it can.. Depending on how much energy you put into it yourself...

hello all you scary apostates.

ill try to be brief, prob could do a whole topic on each point.. i was born a jw, one of 7 kids.

my mum ruled house with iron fist (whole story just there) we were the perfect jw family, never missed fs or meetings all baptised at magic age of 14, all pioneered.

My parents are still Dubs... Some of the things you were saying about truely resound with me...

I too have felt the powers and energy of life... :)
