  s.p.a.d., who is one old cantankerous apostate, has been noticing of late that several of you brave souls still find yourselves in a situation where you have to attend meetings at least now and then.

  i feel for you good folks and i think it is high time that all of us chip in with ideas of how to reduce the boredom and suffering you must endure.

  to be controlled or not to be controlled that is the question!

  after years in a high-control group i cannot seem to accept any form of control from an organisation.

  i am fascinated to know how others cope with finding another group to asscociate with.

  i am so cynical i might never be able to be a part of any group again!

  Yeah I hate anything that seems to be 'controlling' especially at work, and i'm a manager, and bit of a rebel had a few run ins with upper management.

  Infact I see many parrallels to JWs. But hang on a minute world head quarters for my employer is in Pitsburgh PA anyway (I wonder?)

  I'm certainly not interested in belonging to a (any) religion again.

  Has anyone seen the 4/15/2010 Watchtower with their own eyes?

  i haven't followed the generation change in the doctrine that closely, just read a few snippets of the overlapping generations doctrine.

  i find this hard to believe even for the pathological liars the governing body.. has anyone seen the 4/15/2010 watchtower with their own eyes?.

  can anyone validate that the wtbts really is saying this overlapping generation idea the way it is being quoted on the internet in a few places?

  SAS, best company to work for 2010

  the watchtower uses sas software.. sas is very expensive, why would the watchtower spend money on it?.

  the organization is theocratically managed so they don't need wordly software.. .

  i always found it very patronising, particulay as most of the jw's who did that treated me very badly and not like a sister at all!.

  i also hated when brothers would say " i've met a lovely sister and i'm planning to marry her!

  " sounds so incestuous!
