Millionaire JW's....who happen to be fraudsters!!

not sure if any of you have heard about an australian company called firepower which was run by a man named tim johnston.

he basically started a company selling a miracle fuel pill that never actually worked while he collected millions of dollars, bought properties in many countries, antiques, paintings and jet setted around the world with his family.

investors have lost plenty of money and in some cases their life savings.

Just saw this post. There was also a J W in Sydney that made millions in "Fincorp" and ASICS is looking into it and there could be some jail time with it. The charges have been layed. His father-in-law was(maybe still is) an elder so nothing happened to him. He isn't going to meetings, but his wife is and his other family members that made millions. His wife claims she didn't know anything, she bought a company worth a million dollars for a dollar, but she is innocent, of course. I don't know how these people get away with things. It makes me angry.

I think that the understanding will be that the generation that saw 1914 would overlap the next generation which in turn will overlap the next generation which will in turn overlap the next generation which will in turn overlap the next and the next and the next. So all will be OK!?!?!?

Happy new year W 007. I get a little frightened myself as to when Armageddon is coming. I was born in 1960 and thought 1975 was THE DATE. Anyway its good to know other people fell this way. By the way I'm from Sydney Australia, I picked up you are from aussie land too.

Welcome miss C, I can relate to your story, I've faded 3 years ago. I don't know if you have it or heard of it, but Crisis of the Conscience is a real eyeopener. I have been to frightened to get it and only recently bought it. Its not like the witnesses make it out to be. I'm sure you will like it, but when your ready you'll read it.

Thats true alltimejeff, we have to be patient, but sometimes bringing up your kids in the truth, its hard to expose them and if you try they will shun you. I wish I knew how to talk and explain some of the lies without being to harsh.

within the organization, the requirements for reinstatement of those who are disfellowshipped are 'repentance' of any any previous actions and attitude ; a demonstration of no longer practicing whatever 'sin' you got disfellowshipped for, as well as demonstrating submissiveness to the elders, the regulations, and the f&d slave.

My wife just got re-instated(I have faded and will not come back). She got re-instated so she could have a relationship with her kids and grandkids(this is our 2nd marriage). She wrote a letter 4 months ago and her first cong. took 10 weeks to get in contact with her(after she asked and asked what was going on). Then after she met with them they said they would write a letter to her current cong. 4 weeks later her current cong ask her if she had heard from them and she said they were going to wirite a leeter the next day. The P O from her current cong rang the dickhead elder from her first cong and he said he was just drafting a letter(after 4 weeks). So they finally re-instated her and from one to the next she is hugged and loved and welcomed back with open arms, but 24hours before they wouldn't even look at her(go figure). They are a bunch of mind controling a--holes.

Hey guys, I've just joined about 6 months ago and saw your post on this guy. I know him very well and he hasn't learned at all from his past or jail.He is still in charge of his business but its under the guise of his cousin that its operating. His cousin goes to the meetings with his family and goes out preaching and takes his clients to stripclubs and brothels (good christian). Now the cousin is even suing his own father,an elder, over property and money (lots of family fights). I use to go to that Bonnyrigg hall, hell I was a major worker when we built the halls. Anyone still around? Is ozziepost still there or any other aussie? I am Italian too. Hope to hear from someone...

A Thankyou to Ruth!

as it's cristmas i've been thinking of my loved ones and friend's who are still jw'sand then i thought about ruth and how she is forrgotten so i wrote this for her.

the best friend i ever had.. ruth was a jehovahs witness just as i was and even in my oldest memories of her she was old.

not surprising since when i was sixteen she was in her late eightys.

That was beautiful to read about Ruth and I'm sure she wouldn't reconize the JW's today as they have flip-floped about so many things.

Hope you have just good thoughts of Ruth. I use to go witnessing with some old sisters when I was only about 8years old. They were kind but never took a backward step by any males in the truth giving teir opinions(especially if not right).
