  A word of caution

  please forgive me if you consider this to be presumptuous, i know i am an ultra-newbie here.

  but, i see a lot of threads on jwn that read something like, "what is your dog's name" or "where's your favorite vacation spot", "what's your special name for your spouse", etc.

  i give the opening posters of these threads the benefit of the doubt that they are creating them simply for entertainment purposes.

  Not really relevant, since I'm already out of the Borg. Guess they could make trouble by getting my wife to check out my posts here. I'd rather not have that happen, but the world wouldn't end if she did. She'd more than likely end up leaving, but in the long run, that would benefit me more than her.

  Otherwise, might've mentioned my first name, state, maybe even city, there's even a picture of me here. But it's a fairly common name, not easy to just pin down by a Google search (I've tried). Someone clever enough might be able to, after awhile, but again, to what end? I'm not too worried. I wouldn't dare mention my full name anywhere on an Internet forum, of course.

  Question to re-instated ones or those who know them

  i hope you're all enjoying your lives, whatever path you have chosen.. i have a question for anyone who is currently re-instated, has previously been re-instated, or knows and is still in contact with a re-instated one.. my question is this:.

  is the main reason for getting re-instated:.

  Hmm. I can never be too sure about my wife, who was reinstated a few years back, but I'm thinking it's more 'b' than 'a'. Because if it was 'a', I'd see her a lot less than I do, and she'd be at meetings and out recruiting people all the time. I think it's clear she's got to do this to please her mom and she's using it as a crutch to keep her life in order than anything else.

  My Mother Passed

  thank you for all of your support durning the two difficult weeks my mother was on her death bed.

  last night at 10:30pm she breath her last with my sister and i by her side.

  this is a real end of an era for me as i have known little these past 8 years other than taking care of my parents.

  Hey, what'd you think I was talking about? There were some interesting positions tried along the way, even some stuff the WTS wouldn't approve of, on rare occasions, but that was very rare indeed. Probably didn't venture out too far there, really.

  so last night the wife is working, the kids are getting ready for bed and i'm watching futurama.

  doorbell rings.

  now it's dark, snowing and i live on a back road, so it's very odd to have a visitor.

  Regular sex? That's not wild or crazy at all...

  Well, there was a short time where it was more than regular, probably more interesting during pregnancy than any other time, to be honest, but I could probably chart it out.

  Just before marriage & judicial committee: Regular

  After judicial committee: Once a month for several months

  After separation and reuniting, then pregnancy: Regular

  After childbirth, until present (11 months, 1 week): Non-existent, save one painful attempt 2 months ago (Bane quote: "It would be extremely painful. For you.")

  But I'll be derailing this thread and ending up redefining what being a doormat is all about if I keep discussing it. But it's safe to say that things never really got all that wild. I mean, I guess if that first woman had gotten pulled over for drinking and driving, it might've gotten crazy, but otherwise, nothing more of the wild 'n crazy nature to speak of there.

  I couldn't function normally without regular sex. Things settled down after that? Are you sure you did it right? lol
  

  Well, mainly things settled down by necessity. I married the second person I had sex with, as I felt guilty and still wasn't really ready to be going down that road, and then the sex gradually started not being had after the whole judicial committee thing, until...it's starting to look like it may never happen again.

  So I'm guessing that means I didn't do it right...

  Republican Party is pretty much done!

  after leaving the jehovah's witnesses, i started getting in to politics.

  i naturally found myself going republican and voted a long those lines.

  however, with my more pagan nature and being pretty much against christianity.

  I actually doubt a Republican will be President again, and feel sorry for any man or woman who runs on that ticket.

  Romney got 40 million in the popular vote. I guarantee there's someone with enough charisma to do better than that who will show up sooner or later. It's just the law of averages here. And people are frustrated with the current situation; it's just that Romney didn't do a good enough job of convincing enough of the right people that he had a better idea. He kept saying stupid things that buried his credibility, so that didn't help, either. A Republican candidate who's more careful and more charismatic will have no problem winning in 2016.
