I was reminded of an old article from the '50s I read, that highlights just how sick this concept was. Here's the March 1, 1952 WT, page 134, paragraph 8--now this is how JWs are viewing someone who is DF'd, this hasn't changed, really:
Such an individual has no place in the clean organization or congregation of God. He should go back to the wicked group that he once came from and die with that wicked group with Satan’s organization.
"Go back and die". There you have it.

None, really, since I don't talk to JWs very much. Yes, evidently this includes even my wife, as our dealings must be kept strictly to matters concerning family business. What would constitute 'necessarily family business' between a husband and wife? Surely not a discussion pertaining to spiritual matters! Wisely, then, may loyal Christian wives win their apostate husbands over 'without a word'.

hopefully it's youtube'd already and someone will post a link, i can't do it at the moment.. the plot is simple.

I see your point, Christ Alone--black-and-white reasoning here. I suppose the point you're aiming for is, you don't have friendship with God because you don't steal (or murder or fornicate or what have you), you have it because Jesus died so you could have it. The avoidance of bad things like stealing is the result of one's friendship with God, not the other way around. Am I right?

Are they, now? Hadn't noticed THAT particular problem! But since this was directed at cedars, I'll not comment further on it...
I haven't made any YouTube videos...that would be nice to do, been meaning to get around to it. But I don't tend much to my YouTube account, and my playlists would totally offend most JWs...or get them hooked on swimsuit models...oh, wait, they already are, it's the Internet...
