  a friend of mine told me about a huge elders meeting in southern california.

  the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.

  Ithink they will just do what ever makes them most money in the short term.they are not really bothered about people who are 1000s of miles away even if they are in the usa

  also another factor is what age the people are that go to the KHs because as people get older they tend to die and even if they do leave some money in a will once that money is gone then its gone and also it can be very depressing being with a number of people whos number is shrinking year by year

  toes up the storm has started already,the borg are being fined by a court in america for not letting the judge see their records it a daily fine of $4,000 a day.Jwsurvey are keeping a running total on their website.In a year that would be almost $1.5 million dollars.

  if youve followed the news lately there are more and more child abuse cases popping up.

  one lawyer said he has over 28 cases in the pipeline that are going to be coming out soon.

  on december 1 st a new one just popped up.

  Another Kingdom Hall sold

  berkeley kingdom hall in wollongong south of sydney australia has just been sold.

  berkeley congregation are now sharing a neighbouring hall at dapto.. .

  the reason given was the governing body has taken over all the halls and the building was in need of repair.

  I doubt 50 years when all the child abuse cases start coming through then the watchtower will have a shock, over in the uk these past months they had a child abuse case and the watchtower finished up having to pay £1 million pounds in court costs,if you only get 10 such cases a year worldwide and that could be £10 million pounds a year lol

  did you see the september broadcast of jw broadcasting where david splane told you that thet have started moving people to the new world headquaters around new york.they will not be having tours though until april next year .

  i sat in town recently, right in the window of a nice wee pub.

  within minutes i realised that i had a perfect view of a jw cart and the two ridiculously dressed jw's (they have absolutely no individuality at all.

  what's more, they all look like they're going to a funeral).

  Its a win win the people can get their time in in a dead easy way and headquaters dont have to spend money replacing any magazines or books and now that the magazines are undated they could be there in 10 years time.with the same books and the same smile

  My old congregation is gone

  went to the hall today as i was the designated driver for my parents.

  an elder who was in our old congregation in the city gave the talk.

  i've had a little chat with him and apparently our old congo is gone.
