  i began my exit from the jehovah’s witness organization about 5 years.

  i was a 4th generation born-in, with all the baggage that comes with having the “spiritual heritage” attached to the group.

  i was an elder/bethelite/pioneer/whatever other useless privilege there was, i had no family or friends outside of the organization… my entire life was that org.

  This is why i keep on taking teaching books and trashing them,if i can save just one person or family from going through all this pain then it will be worth it

  magazines to distribute to family, friends, and neighbors.

  my teaching books dont go to landfill my hamsters find them to useful.With all the kingdom halls that are closing in america i dont think my hamsters will have teaching books for much longer

  putting it simply, kingdom halls are no longer the property of a local group of the folks that paid for and constructed it.

  the lender, the watchtower society, now says that once a mortgage is satisfied, that congregation must then declare a resolution which says it will continue to make payments, usually equal to the amount they were paying on the mortgage.

  and they must do so indefinitely.

  a friend of mine told me about a huge elders meeting in southern california.

  the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.

  Selloff Hinted At Assembly

  the last talk at the assembly made an interesting statement, "we can show faith by following direction if we're asked to move to another kingdom hall for better use of dedicated christian funds".

  this statement has everyone talking.

  i spoke to multiple individuals and they heard the same thing at different assembly's.. i know they have been "evaluating" all kingdom halls the last year or two.

  darkspliver i agree with what you say but that is assuming that warwick will agree to any new kingdom halls being built.What if a body of elders or even a co asks headquaters to pay for building a new hall and they say no.The local jws can either keep going as as they have been doing or stop being JWs

  Can Someone Explain To Me, Are The Org In Debt Or Rich?

  hi guys.. im aware of the orgs blatant hints to donate, donate, donate to the org, the sacking of bethel staff, selling of buildings, reducing mags and books, emphasis on digital rather than physical books etc which is obviously a money saver - but are the wt org in money difficulty?

  because elsewhere on here and on youtube there's stories of the watchtower being mega rich, one even called it "a billion dollar organization".

  and if there is any money in there, who's benefiting off it?

  I dont think in the southern part of africa,in one of the watchtower videos it tells you that that the south africa branch looks after TWENTY countrys in southern africa in the october broadcasting tv programe it shows you some of the people who have been kicked out of bethal as they are not needed

  it gets better than that, i think that when they start geting the BIG court costs in rather than sell bethel they will start to sell local kingdom halls off first and there are 3 reasons for this

  1any group would rather sell local branches off than their headquaters.

  2 they know that most people only know about kingdom halls in their local area,so if they sold a kingdom hall 200 miles from you,how would you know about it

  3 The people in charge live at bethel and i dont think they will be to quick to give up their cushy lives to keep kingdom hall going
