it has come to my attention that a much-beloved poster on this forum has been hurt by the insensitivity shown toward her account of how badly she was treated by the wt.. i realize this is a place where are all welcome, and barring any posting guidelines violations, we are free to air our views without fear of any backlash.. however, please keep in mind that most posters here - yours truly being one of them - view the wt in a negative light.
with all the evidence out there pertaining to its deceitfulness, how can anyone view it otherwise?.
i reached out to you, angel eyes, because i sense that you need a friend.
That was a really honest and good post Slyvia... I myself feel I understand what AE is going though. I feel she will not change if she is not punished by the JW. Then let her walk around "invisiable" and see what just a year does to her!
I myself feel I walk around like a "wife being abused" when I was a JW (even when I was first DF you would catch me backing up my 'taugh love' treatment). But then again like a rebel 'I cheated on my husband' (not litarally) but I have sinned against the JW having friends that were DF and could not stop talking to them!! I was DF myself and after twice getting DF. It makes you think twice about getting back in. Obviously DF to me is cruel unjust and not loving. It's control!
I feel AE is just one that is blind right now. She defiantly needs to dig deep. You can't put faith in men that lead you to self distrution, but you were given your life to do what's right and rise above that.
I feel though that tactful words and care is important to draw someone closer to you. I myself love being around people like that! I enjoy everyone that have incouraged someone... they probably don't realize it but it has incouraged me as well!
Mouthy I hope you do not leave... You are especially one I have enjoyed hearing comments from! (Remember you are one that reminds me of my grandma, love her to death, I wish JW didn't split us apart, she tries very hard to obey but actually she secretly talks to me and comes over every now and then... )
I see everyones personalities on these board, each unique and a delight!! Everyone on here have been wonderful to me! Thanks a ton!
one of my witness family members agreed to take a look at crisis of conscience, and after.
perusing the first couple of chapters, said that she thought it could be all made up.
agreed that the documents presented could be legitimate, but as far as franz's personal.
Wow I just found this page on JWN for all the newbies like myself!
And I found this youtube of Ray Franz himself....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c6I0fjiYNU
has anyone ever heard anything wrong with having a honeymoon baby??.
just wanted to ask as i was told by an elder two weeks before i married "dont you dare have a honeymoon baby"......
I refer the rules as part of the organization rules. She might be slang, like when i say it, the org, or JW organization... which is basicly saying "their rules they follow" as a group of ppl that are under 'God's arrangement'.
so i just caught a glimpse of this new wt magazine(study edition) of course.. from dec 28th titled.
"what do your prayers say about you".
so now they are focosing on every aspect of our lifes even our actions during prayer.
Hahahaha that is to funny! Thank God I'm out! I can see why our generation is leaving the place. I could prob say I'd do it despite them. Lol sorry.. I'm a rebel.

It more like this
The Governing body > Jehovah's organization
when actually it should be this
Jehovah > Jehovah's organization
Jehovah's organization = The spiritually strong Jehovah's Witnesses (and publishers or spiritual babes)
...we kinda left the topic again didn't we.... hehe
there he is grandpa john.
the greatest man who ever lived (in my eye anyways lol).
i'm the lil girl in the middle bout 20 years ago.
lol thanks georgiegirl!! They kinda know me from past post and kind know my thinking. Im out and happy to be out now but then again it's family that holds me to JW. Thanks so much for that though that was incouraging. Yeah who knows what changes he might have made.

Awww... geez sound like an old grumpy elder with control issues. lol jk anyways yeah he needs to lighten up. Your husband should be like "Brother so an so we are adults now, please respect our privacy."
hi jwners.
ive been a lurker for awhile, and have learned so much from your experiences, wisdom and humor.
i still marvel at the reach of sadness suffered by so many on this forum.
Welcome it's great to have a place to express and share with ppl that have a listening ear. Thanks for sharing, what an experience you have had sorry to hear about your brother but at least now have been blessed with family and sucess in business. That's great! Hope to hear more... :)
