Come now, that movie has magic in it. And violence! But the worst of all: it's 2 hours wasted you could spend preaching! Of course it's demonic!

Lol hope I don't jinx your project with that 666
Do you know the polling limit of the Armory? You could limit internally the number of specific requests, to avoid ban. It could piss off some visitors though, if they arrive late.
On the other topic: I got counseled against games too. I think this actually leads to even more depression - they lay guilt on you for playing.

For a second I was thinking thinking this is somehow related to JWs playing WoW That's an interresting topic that wasn't explored so far I think (it's interresting, because WoW has everything the WTS condemns: violence, magic, online, and even a slight bit of sexuality; not to mention it's a game, on which you're wasting your time that could be used selling literature).
Ok, ontopic: I like the clear simplistic layout, there isn't much to distract me from the information. However I think a centering or fill the window would look better (I'm using 1280x1024). Also if I resize the window to smaller than the text, there's no horizontal scrollbar, so for screen sizes lower than 1024x768 I think the text is not entirely readable. A nice background would go well too, but maybe you're working on that already. Don't make the background too flashy though. Just KISS (keep it simple, silly).
As functionality, I played WoW, but never got into PvP, so I'm not sure if my information is relevant. But how about letting people enter their realm/character and pull the profile from the Armory, compare to, let's say the best player similar to his build, and maybe give advice on what to improve? This last part is probably very hard, but a simple compare could be useful too.

Technically the bible has being predicting Armageddon 4000+ years. Jesus was asked when will the "conclusion" be. So if you think Jehovah's witnesses are slow after 120 years, you must really struggle with the length of time the bible has made you wait?
No, because the Bible only says that it will happen, it doesn't push you at every possible moment to do more, because it's so close you can almost smell it. In fact Armageddon is a very small part of the Bible, there's much more concern about human's morality. Which is about the contrary to JW's, where practically there is no article or talk that doesn't mention the big A.
Armageddon only has to happen right once!
You know the boy who cried wolf too many times, right? Sometimes you can learn something from sources outside of the Bible, and the WTS would do well to finally learn the lesson that boy is trying to teach us. Assuming there will be an Armageddon soon, provided that God is righteous, who do you think He will make responsible for all those people who got tired of failed prophecies over and over for the last century, and got disillusioned?

"ANT"-i-matter... tee hee
Lol the antimatter always cracks me up. Never mind that the energy produced by the body of a few billion people would blow the whole Earth to atoms. They think the antimatter would simply erase completely the matter out of existence.
Let's say 4 billion people are eaten by birds, that leaves ~3 billion to antimatter, or 195 billion kilogramms. Antimatter has mass too (yep Cirus, and it's not negative mass either ), so that's ~400 billion kg. I'm lazy to calculate E = mc2 now, but acc. to wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E%3Dmc2) 1 gramm of mass equals 21.5 kilotons of TNT (or roughly about the energy of the Fat Man nuclear bomb exploded in Nagasaki).
Which leads us to a grand total of energy equivalent to 400 thousand billions of Fat Man explosions, or roughly 400 billion Castle Bravo explosions, the most powerful weapon ever created by man (which has 22 megaton TNT).
And they're afraid of the few hundred nuclear bombs now ready to detonate. Just wait and see what your god has in his silos for you! :D

You are confused? Lol, then how about us, who have been told for 120 years and counting, that the end is very near.
Personally I'm only questioning the mental sanity of someone who can be fooled for so long, and don't wisen up. 'Fool me once shame on you, fool me continuously 120 years, call me a JW'.

Fun meeting with an elder
by teel ina few days ago an elder, old aquaintance of mine visited me (alone, which was my request - props for him for accepting my terms).
it was quite an interresting meeting.
this elder is quite intelligent, he is a professor at a local college.

From what I understood in my brief foray into mind control techniques, intelligent minds are even more susceptible to outside influence, contrary to what one might expect. The artificial pathways in the mind created by mental conditioning can go much deeper because there is depth in him to facilitate this. Someone who is less of a thinker, might be persuaded much easier to join a cult, but as soon as some other thing captures his attention, he can just as easily get out as he got in.
I remember an old Bible study of mine, a mother who in my assessement barely touched 70 on the IQ scale. We have not progressed one inch in about 5 years of our visiting - the wife still visits her. The rationalizing types might be a little harder to convince, but are much better catch for a cult. And with all the 'research materials' the society gives them, it's not that hard to trap the intelligent types either, you don't have to be smarter than him, the literature will do the hard work for you.
