  Some are right bastards!!!!! Sorry for the strong language but these people are sick! As far as I am concerned, if they are caught they should be charged with attempted murder along with any other charge they can be landed with and not be permitted to serve their sentences concurrently!!!!

  On the one side is the wt/bible-ot advocating parental violence. On the other, the 'world' is depicted as gentle on kids. It is becoming more clear which is the better method. Reading this brings back a lot of sadness.

  Actually, the OT/Bible does not advocate parental violence .... exactly the opposite as a word study of these terms would reveal

  this internet community has and is providing a wonderful first step opportunity for those seeking healing from the wt experience.. in looking at real time practical measures also, i would perhaps like to see the implementation of a network of contacts established for those who in need of down to earth commonsense advice shared, face to face.

  can you treat a persons innermost feelings with respect and dignity for the individual's own imformed decision making?

  That's why we started the BBQ's etc over here Celtic ... it gives everyone an opportunity to grow and recover and reach out.

  It's good to see that Sydney have got theirs underway on a regular basis now. Who's next? Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth ???

  He is absolutely gorgeous Hippie. You and Mrs Hippie did well!

  Very alert little fellow and I bet he doesn't miss much.

  Wish I was able to get down to the BBQ this weekend to give him a cuddle ..... but we have the grandson's 2nd birthday that day.

  Go back and read the quote about Penton again ..... it was the SECOND edition he gave his recommend to. It is referring back to the second edition in 1975.
