That would make my day. Personally I'd like to see more celebrity types do that. I actually wanted to see Tiger do that too. I don't agree with everything that rappers and the Punk crowd say and do, but I've always respected their F-U attititude toward media and society.

I'm chuckling to myself while reading this thread, no disrespect to any of you, but you guys come off like scorned women. Maybe you should hire Gloria Alred. Jay-Z had a line that makes me think of this thread, "you're not feeling me, fine. It costs you nothing, pay me no mind." Reading the comments here, makes me think some of you have emotional stake in what Tiger does. Any of you married to him? Granted, I didnt see the interview in question, however I'd be willing to gamble, the interviewer asked Tiger about Tiger's game, and how Tiger felt considering the long layoff. The interviewer didnt ask Tiger to give a shout out to Mickelson, or pray for his wife. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Tiger stan, but I don't recall him ever not giving credit where credit is due to whomever won, when he lost. You folks are looking wayyyyyy too far into this.

That's the "special talk" for this spring.
It's the same regurgitated crap every spring, to try and further rope in those who attended the Memorial. I'm not sure why they keep up the tradition; I've NEVER seen it work.
You right, it never works. I did the special talk three years ago, and I remember looking out at the audience, and it was pretty much the exact same audience I see every Sunday, and ever Tuesday night. For the past couple years, the attendance has been typical of any other random meeting. I'd love to ask the powers that be in NY, what do they hope to accomplish with these campaigns?

I almost did a thread on this some time ago. Satan killed Job's kids, and God blessed Job with more children. What kills me, no pun intended, is that the children replaced, were spoken of like pencils or some non important replaceable object. Like tires or brake pads. i attended one day of a two day assembly and did ok until the very last talk.
the brother was from bethal and well jw's pay closer attention to their talks, cause that is when some new info is given,,,right.
well anyways i lost focus and began to daydream, cause it became one of those talks that just talks about wasting time.
ana_dote- In regards to the hugging thing - BULLSH*T and I'll tell you why. According to the JW's/bible/whatev....marriage is a THREEFOLD CORD. Man + woman + GOD = marriage. By a married couple joining together by hands or a general embrace, it is acknowledging and initiating that special bond that should exist among the THREE. Besides, even if it's true that prayer should be a holy moment between an individual and God alone, aren't married people supposed to be ONE FLESH? By respectfully embracing, they are showing their respect and recognition of the unique bond they share with God.

If you would have told me this was taken from a WT, I would have called you a liar. SD-7 couldnt have wrote it any better. I can't believe they printed this. Nowadays, CO's and DO's still verbally request require you wear white shirts during assemblies and conventions. I've helped out on stage work for assemblies, and I've seen brothers get removed for not dressing conservatively enough. Translation: their shirt twas not white.
I was planning on blowing off my next Circuit Assembly, but I'm dying to go now!! Just to see what nonsense is going to spewed from the platform.
