  It would be fatal if one of the current GB "made a play." I feel like a giddy school girl with all of this. This is the first time in my life I've ever seen the WT flex its muscle a little bit. I mean on one hand its overwhelmingly corny on their part to supress this video, but at the same time fascinating. Its like witnessing the scene with The Emporor in Star Wars when he said, "now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station!" The youtubers with the said video are like Lando when he said, " that blast came from the Death Star! That thing's operational!"

  I am completely fascinated by this turn of events. Its somewhat intriguing as a born in who was too young to appreciate 1975, or the Ray Franz era. This is really going to be interesting to see how the next few years play out. Hopefully I don't lose my head trying to stick with this cancer of a religion by then.

  question for anybody in the know. Who would have access to this outline to leak it online? The farthest I got up the theocratic ladder was adjusting mics at the circuit assemblies and a demo plus an interview on a district convention. Who would have the "security clearance" to an outline that is only to be delivered by GB members? The only cats I could think of would be an actual GB member, a CO possibly, and a heavy on the Writing Department. Anybody else I might be missing? Maybe a stage hand with a good camera phone?

  The thing I find the most fascinating about all of this, is where are these leaks coming from? How is it that a JW can get more information in real time at an apostate message board , quicker and more thorough than they get from their own religious leaders. I'm loving this!! Where are these leaks coming from? Evidently, this board and others similar have some friends in high places in the Borg.

  Did you swear when you were a JW?

  i have noticed that quite a few people here swear and use profanity.

  an elder once told me this is quite common in the congregations he has been in.

  i was raised in so never allowed to swear and never got into the habit.

  I do under my breath during moments of frustration, or fits of anger. I've slipped occasionally in front of nonJWs. I used to be concerned of developing a reputation for cursing, until one coworker heard me slip regarding a situation we had develope in our department. She then stated the situation must be really bad as she never hears me swear unless its something serious. Her saying that was kind of a relief.

  Question about priviledges

  i am an unbaptised publisher and something happened (don't ask) and i had a "back room conversation" with 2 elders and they told me that i can't answer in the meetings or give talks for a while.this happened in the 1st feb 2010.my questions are:how long will i have to wait to answer again?do i have to meet with 2 elders again in the back room to talk about getting the priviledges back?what happens if i don't want to meet them in the back room again?if i refuse to be in the thocratic ministry school will/can they tell me that i am no longer an unbaptised publisher?please answer only if you are/was an elder or if you are sure.thanx.

  I don't believe its written anywhere specifically how long your commenting and talks are to be on ice. I can see them allowing you to continue going in field service as long as whatever you did isn't something that is "public knowledge." As previous posters mentioned, you need to go to the two Elders who handled your "situation". The rest of the body is typically only aware of what happened on the surface. Typically when it goes down in a "brief" Elders meeting, the two who are handling it, tell the rest of the body what punishments they've handed down. 9 times out 10, the rest of the body says ok after a couple comments from the brown nosers and self righteous elders, and then they move onto the next subject. At that point, you're forgotten about. When other Elders see you, they know your damaged goods, even though they might not remember the specifics as to why you're chopped liver. The few situations I've seen similar to your with baptized and unbaptized publishers, it was typically a handful of months that the offender privileges were on ice.

  P.S., why are you so concerned about getting your privileges back, but you're on an apostate website? It's the equivalent of an NAACP member worrying about when the Klan is going to start accepting Black members.
