  the local congregation decided to take contributions for the non-jw community.

  If society UPHELD the pagan origins of umbrellas would the R and F obey?

  if the society said that umbrellas were indeed pagan, because their origins are, and you would be dfed if you used one do you think the rank and file would obey?

  or do you think that would push them over the edge?

  i can just see the wealthy witness woman you know, the real pretentious ones not going out when it rains etc..

  7th Day Adventists came to my house... it was weird

  so i get a knock on the door and a minister from a local 7th day adventists is at my doorstep.

  it felt very much like a witness.

  he asked me about my life and how things were going and if i was a christian.. i explained to him that i gave up christianity a while back and he asked why.

  Now THAT's interesting. I've never ran into an Adventist before. They're like a urban legend although they are kind of like our twisted stepbrother speaking from a JW perspective. Ran into quite a few Mormons in my time, and discussed quite a few things with them too. They made me feel quite normal looking back on it all, as they're a little more nuts than Fred Franz was. But an Adventist......I've never known one or seen one.

  Since they're openly questioning, or maybe I should say insinuating, that the recent flux of annointed partakers aren't "genuine", would it be fair to question the genuinity of the annointed comprising the GB and other leadership in this organization? This increase, now past 11,000 at this late day and age of the end, has me questioning if this organization has a problem similar to Invasion of the Body Snatchers. How far have the non-genuine annointed infiltrated God's chosen organization? Is it possible that there's a Metastasized Class of counterfeit annointed Christians within the walls of the WT? Maybe we'll get new light on the wheat and the weeds illustration? Maybe that illustration had absolutely nothing to do with Christendom vs. The Watchtower. Maybe the wheat and the weeds illustration was actually about the genuine annointed followers within the WT organization, and the recent influx of non-genuine annointed partakers falsely partaking of the emblems and not leaving enough wine for the genuine alcoholics within the congregation. I swear all this crap is so stupid anymore.

  First Semester of College Completed Tonight!

  LOL, She tried to reincarnate under a new name..but the same sentiments, illogic, and'arguments' persisted...as well at abbreviations and mis-spellings unique to Reniaa.

  I wonder why she just doesn't come back on here as Reniaa? I wonder if her name and the avatar she used with her old name would make things difficult for her in the JW world? Was that an actual picture of her? Plus she mentioned where she was from or resided when on her as Reniaa. Posting on here and losing debates isn't exactly recomended by the WTS, and certainly is not Service Meeting Interview material. Maybe shepherding call material for some brothers in Yorkshire....

  Just wanted to mention, if someone wishes to do the research. I'm too lazy, and too busy here at work to do it. But Debator's beef with Ray Franz making money off of his book, is a smoking gun identifying Debator as in fact Reniaa. Not that it takes much to figure out Debator's identity, but it is interesting that one of her main gripes with RF and his book was that he made money off of it, and also that he didn't start his own church. Debator has expressed that particular sentiment twice now, and I recall when I used to lurk here, Reniaa expressed the same sentiments.

  it was a wealthy (she drove a lexus and was very well dressed) middle aged woman with a younger girl.

  she used the typical line this time of year asking if i knew where the origins of christmas came from.

  the baby, identified by her surname lee, was born in august with a congenital heart disease.

  doctors at the seoul asan hospital, where she was first admitted, concluded that she needed surgery, but her parents refused to give permission, according to the officials.

  There's a side of me that feels that this kid would be better off dead than being raised within this religion, especially if her parents are die hard JWs. Granted, its a small side of me, and it doesn't outweight my belief that this child deserved better, that being at least a chance at experiencing life and all the joys and sorrows that come with life. She'll never get that oppurtunity now, but speaking from a born-in's perspective, she'll also miss out on a lot of the heartache, stress, confusion, depression, and turmoil found within this religion.
